Finance Assistant – Join Our Finance Team in Sale, Manchester! Are you a numbers enthusiast with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for learning? We’re on the lookout for a Finance Assistant to join our team at our Head Office in Sale. If you have more than 2 years of experience, and have a hunger to grow in finance, or you are an experienced professional ready to share your expertise and collaborate, this is a fantastic opportunity to thrive in a supportive and dynamic environment. What We’re Looking For: • Strong numerical skills and a solid academic foundation (GCSE Maths – top grades preferred)., • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with data., • A detail-centered mindset and excellent organisational abilities., • A curious, ambitious attitude with a desire to learn and progress., • Experience with different accounting systems, such as Sage 50 Accounts, • Great communication and a collaborative spirit. Key Responsibilities: • Processing purchase and sales ledger invoices and credit notes (key task), • Bank reconciliations, • Supplier statement reconciliations and resolving discrepancies., • Maintaining financial trackers and supporting accruals., • Assisting with expenses, customer accounts, and supplier payments., • Supporting the Finance Manager and stepping in when needed.
