Band 3 Male Autistic support worker needed, full time working on a weekly rota basis within a four person team. You must have at least 3/4 years of experience in working with individual who have complex health needs, nonverbal, learning disabilities, ASD clients. A full UK driving licence, A UK work permit visa,UK citizenship. Your role will involve supporting the client with full personal care, lifeskills, preparing halal meals etc, administrate medication/suppositories, work under pressure, flexible, trustworthy, working under the instruction/liaison with clients family, to help manage the clients activities and daily routines. A good knowldge of using picture storys for communication, a good knowledge of how to manage safe guarding around challenging behaviours and restraint compliance. The ability to use creative thinking to improve the clients motivation and help encourage client’s independence, to achieve higher goals. Assist with arranging appointments liaising with clinical teams maintaining the clients flat, manage clients complex bladder, gut, bowel needs. Keep records of mointoring and changes in health. a clean licence is a must, patience and tolerance, at lets a GCSE in English, speak and write fluent English, the client can also speak a little urdu and Arabic, 2 reference. The job provides 5 weeks paid annual leave, a lovely room when carry out sleeping night/waking nights, good pay rate £18
