As we continue to grow and strengthen our provision, we are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Pastoral Manager to join our passionate team. About the RolePastoral Managers at City of Birmingham School play a central role in creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for pupils with a wide range of social, emotional, and behavioural needs. You will work closely with teaching staff, the SEND team, campus leadership and external agencies to ensure pupils feel secure, understood, and able to engage positively with learning. Your work will include leading on pastoral interventions, analysing behaviour data, supporting pupils individually and in small groups, and implementing strategies that help remove barriers to learning. You will contribute to behaviour plans, safeguarding processes, risk assessments, and the wider personal development of pupils. You will also play a key role in supporting positive relationships with families and promoting strong communication across the school community. This is a highly rewarding role where you will make a measurable difference to the daily experiences and long-term outcomes of some of the most vulnerable young people in Birmingham.
