The Role As Children’s Homes Manager, you’ll lead two small, nurturing homes (2 beds each), ensuring they provide a safe, therapeutic environment for children. You’ll manage a dedicated team, drive quality standards, and embed a culture of care and excellence. Your responsibilities will include: • Leading and inspiring your team to deliver outstanding care., • Registering with Ofsted and achieving Good or Outstanding ratings., • Embedding therapeutic practices that support emotional and social well-being., • Managing budgets and ensuring financial sustainability., • Driving quality assurance and continuous improvement., • Building strong relationships with children, families, and partners., • Championing equality, diversity, and a positive culture for young people. About You We’re looking for someone who: • Has at least 2 years’ experience in residential childcare and 1 year in a supervisory role., • Holds (or is willing to complete) a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Child Care., • Understands Children’s Homes Regulations 2015, safeguarding, and Ofsted frameworks., • Is passionate about therapeutic approaches and committed to making a difference., • Has strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
