THE OPPORTUNITY We’re looking for a commercially driven and relationship-focused Senior National Account Manager to join our Sales team and lead key retail partnerships. This is more than a job — it’s a chance to play a pivotal role in our growth journey, shaping customer strategy, unlocking new business opportunities, and taking trading relationships to the next level. In this role, you will: • Input into and execute channel strategy across key retail accounts, • Deliver new business in line with volume and margin targets, • Drive sales growth through effective account development and management, • Build and deliver strategic account plans to maximise opportunities, • Manage and grow trading relationships across Own Label and Branded portfolios, • Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Operations, Technical, Marketing and Innovation teams, • Ensure smooth end-to-end delivery from order to cash, • Monitor market trends, customer developments and competitor activity, • Identify and unlock new business opportunities through insight and analysis, • Lead commercial negotiations to optimise profitability, • Provide regular performance updates and insights to senior leadership ABOUT YOU You’re an experienced commercial leader who thrives in the fast-paced UK retail environment. You know how to build relationships, unlock growth and deliver results. Experience & Background • Extensive experience in commercial roles within the UK Retail sector, • Proven track record of delivering growth and managing key accounts, • Strong understanding of costing and pricing strategies Key Skills • Highly skilled negotiator, deal maker and relationship builder, • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance volume, margin and long-term growth, • Excellent communication and presentation skills at all levels, • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market and customer data, • Broad understanding of cross-functional areas including supply chain, technical, finance, operations, innovation and marketing Personal Qualities • Confident, credible and able to influence at senior level, • Strategic thinker with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset, • Strong relationship builder and natural collaborator Be Better.
