Role As a Senior Project Manager in London, you'll play a central role in leading the delivery of our client's construction projects, overseeing planning, design integration, site activities and contractor management from groundworks through to technical fit-out. Acting as the project's primary delivery lead, you'll ensure works progress safely, efficiently and in line with programme, quality expectations and strategic objectives, coordinating closely with the Architectural Design Manager, Commercial Manager and wider construction team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced construction manager to take ownership of complex, high-profile theatre and entertainment venue projects, managing budgets of £10m+ and leading multi-disciplinary teams through every stage of delivery. You'll provide structured leadership to the Project Coordinator, Group Site Manager and Maintenance & Construction Operative whilst driving performance across contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders. Responsibilities As a Delivery Project Manager in London, your responsibilities will include: • Lead delivery and successful completion of construction projects,, • Produce and update master project programmes, ensuring milestones are clear, • Lead internal project meetings and ensure actions are completed in line with project requirements, • Line-manage the Project Coordinator, Group Site Manager and Maintenance & Construction Operative, providing structured leadership and support, • Ensure close coordination between design, commercial and site teams, • Support development of logistics plans for key phases, • Work closely with the Construction Commercial Manager to monitor contractor performance against contractual and quality expectations, • Coordinate with contractors and consultants to resolve any queries, • Champion high standards of health and safety, achieving full compliance with CDM regulations, RAMS and site protocols, • Assist the Group Site Manager in planning and maintaining efficient site logistics, • Ensure health, safety and logistics considerations are fully integrated, • Ensure risk considerations are embedded within design decisions, • Support creation of contingency plans and programme adjustments to maintain delivery certainty and minimise disruption Person To be successful in this Delivery Project Manager job in London, you will bring significant experience delivering medium-to-large construction projects from groundworks and structure through to fit-out, ideally with values of £10m+. Essential: • Proven experience as a Delivery Project Manager, Construction Project Manager or Project Leader delivering complex construction schemes, • Strong ability to lead and coordinate project teams, • Demonstrable understanding of construction sequencing, programme management, buildability and risk management principles, • Experience managing contractor performance, • Strong knowledge of construction health and safety requirements, CDM 2015 regulations and safe site practices, • Proven experience preparing and managing project programmes, • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to make informed decisions under pressure, • Proficient in project management tools, Microsoft Office (including Excel) and construction documentation management systems, • Awareness of planning conditions, building control processes and regulatory requirements relevant to public assembly buildings Desirable: • Experience delivering complex projects, • Strong understanding of MEP coordination, technical fit-out sequences and interface management, • Experience developing or reviewing logistics plans, • Experience working collaboratively with commercial teams on cost, contract and procurement matters, • SMSTS, NEBOSH or degree in Construction Management / Project Management Remuneration This is an excellent opportunity to join an innovative and growing construction company delivering landmark cultural projects across London with clear scope for career progression to Contracts Manager or Head of Construction roles.
