CREATIVE OPERATIONS MANAGER\n Blvck Sheep Media · Glasgow · Remote \n Salary: £30,000, increasing to £35,000 following a successful first 6 months \n Type: Full-time \n Location: Remote — UK working hours \n Reports to: Founder \n Start: Immediate ABOUT BLVCK SHEEP MEDIA\n Blvck Sheep Media is a Glasgow-based creative video marketing agency working primarily with aesthetic clinics, dental practices, med spas and local service businesses across Scotland. \n We help businesses grow through video content, social media strategy and paid advertising. \n We're a small, fast-moving team of strategists, videographers, editors and creatives, and we're looking for an experienced Creative Operations Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day delivery of our client work. \n This is a key role within the agency. You'll sit between our clients and creative team, making sure projects are organised, deadlines are hit, creative standards remain high and clients receive a consistently great service. THE ROLE\n As Creative Operations Manager, you'll oversee the journey from a client signing with us through to their content being created, approved, delivered and published. \n You'll manage client communication, coordinate our videographers and editors, book shoots, review creative work and keep every project moving. \n You'll work closely with the founder, who will continue to lead sales, strategy and high-level creative direction. \n We're looking for someone who can take genuine ownership of operations rather than waiting to be told what needs to happen next. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESClient Management\n\n • Manage the day-to-day relationship with our clients\n, • Lead clients through onboarding and ensure everything is set up correctly\n, • Keep clients updated throughout production and delivery\n, • Manage requests, feedback and revisions\n, • Make sure clients always understand what is happening next\n, • Identify potential issues early and resolve them before they become bigger problems\n, • Support client retention and renewals\n, • Escalate important strategic, commercial or client issues when necessary\nCreative Project Management\n\n, • Manage multiple client projects simultaneously\n, • Oversee projects from strategy and scripting through filming, editing, approval and delivery\n, • Maintain clear deadlines across every active client\n, • Make sure projects don't stall because assets, feedback or decisions are missing\n, • Keep project management systems accurate and up to date\n, • Identify bottlenecks and improve how work moves through the agency\n, • Ensure client work is delivered on time and to the expected standard\nManage the Videographer Team & Shoots\n\n, • Manage the day-to-day scheduling of our videographer team\n, • Book and coordinate client shoots\n, • Assign videographers to projects based on availability and requirements\n, • Make sure videographers are properly briefed before shoots\n, • Coordinate shoot dates between clients and the production team\n, • Keep the filming calendar organised and efficient\n, • Make sure footage is handed over correctly following shoots\n, • Help maintain consistent filming and production standards across the team\nManage the Editing Team\n\n, • Assign editing projects based on workload and capacity\n, • Set clear briefs and deadlines\n, • Track projects throughout the editing process\n, • Follow up on work before deadlines are missed\n, • Manage editor capacity across multiple client projects\n, • Provide feedback and direction to editors\n, • Help onboard and train new editors\n, • Hold the team accountable to our delivery and creative standards\nCreative Quality Control\n You'll be one of the final people reviewing our content before it reaches a client. \n You'll: \n\n • Review video edits in full\n, • Check pacing, hooks, storytelling, captions, music, sound design and overall quality\n, • Make sure videos follow the original strategy and brief\n, • Leave clear, actionable feedback for editors\n, • Ensure revisions have been completed properly\n, • Review thumbnails, carousels, captions and supporting content\n, • Maintain a consistently high creative standard across client accounts\n\n You don't need to be a professional video editor, but you must have strong creative judgement. Scripting & Content\n A strong understanding of social media content is important for this role. \n You'll work with scripts, captions, hooks and content ideas regularly, so we're particularly interested in candidates who have experience with: \n\n • Social media scripting\n, • Short-form video\n, • Content creation\n, • Copywriting\n, • Creative strategy\n, • Paid social creative\n, • Reviewing or improving scripts and hooks\n\n You'll occasionally need to spot when a script, caption or piece of content isn't strong enough and improve it before it reaches the client. Content Delivery & Scheduling\n\n • Organise and deliver completed client content\n, • Ensure files and folders are structured correctly\n, • Coordinate client approvals\n, • Manage revisions and final sign-off\n, • Schedule approved social media content\n, • Make sure content is published in the correct strategic order\n, • Ensure monthly deliverables are completed in full\nOperations & Reporting\n\n, • Maintain visibility across every active client and project\n, • Track upcoming shoots, deadlines and deliverables\n, • Monitor contracts, payments and renewal dates\n, • Flag overdue payments and upcoming renewals\n, • Coordinate meetings and client calls\n, • Help protect the founder's calendar and time\n, • Provide a clear weekly overview of client status, production, team capacity and any issues requiring attention\n, • Continuously identify ways to improve our systems and client experience\nWHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR\n This role would suit someone who has already worked inside a creative, marketing, social media, video or digital agency and understands how agency life works. \n You need to be comfortable managing multiple clients, creatives and deadlines simultaneously. \n We're looking for someone who is: \n\n • Extremely organised\n, • Proactive rather than reactive\n, • Confident communicating with clients\n, • Comfortable managing creative people\n, • Able to hold people accountable to deadlines\n, • A strong written and verbal communicator\n, • Creative and commercially aware\n, • Comfortable making decisions independently\n, • Good at identifying problems before they become urgent\n, • Able to manage multiple moving projects without losing track of details\n, • Comfortable working in a fast-moving small business\n\n Most importantly, we're looking for someone who takes ownership. \n If something is drifting, you chase it. \n If something isn't good enough, you flag it. \n If a client needs an update, you communicate it. \n If there's a problem, you work towards a solution rather than simply passing the problem upwards. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE\n You must have: \n\n • 2+ years of relevant professional experience\n, • Previous experience working within an agency OR significant experience in a closely related Creative Operations, Client Success, Account Management or Project Management role\n, • Experience managing multiple clients or projects simultaneously\n, • Experience coordinating creative teams, freelancers or contractors\n, • Experience managing deadlines and project delivery\n, • Strong written and spoken English\n, • Strong understanding of social media and digital content\n, • Confidence communicating directly with clients\n\n This is not an entry-level role. Previous agency or directly relevant experience is essential. HIGHLY ADVANTAGEOUS\n Candidates will stand out if they have experience in: \n\n • Creative or video agencies\n, • Social media or video scripting\n, • Writing and improving hooks, scripts and captions\n, • Video production\n, • Creative project management\n, • Managing videographers and editors\n, • Short-form social media content\n, • Creative strategy\n, • Paid social creative\n, • Canva or basic graphic design\n, • Social media scheduling\n, • Healthcare, dental, aesthetics or clinic marketing\n\n Scripting experience and a strong creative background are particularly advantageous.
