Contract Management: Prepare and manage procurement contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure optimal stock levels. Coordinate with the inventory management team to avoid shortages and excess stock. Cost Control: Monitor and control procurement costs, seeking opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements. Reporting: Prepare and present procurement reports, including spend analysis, supplier performance, and market trends. Provide recommendations for strategic procurement decisions. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as finance, operations, and production, to align procurement activities with overall business objectives. Qualifications/skills Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field. Experience: 2-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or a related field. Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
