Role Highlights Job Title: Registered Practitioner Psychologist/Psychotherapist Salary range: Between £50,000 and £65,000 depending on experience. Hours: 37.5 hours per week The Role We are looking for a passionate, values-led Psychologist/Psychotherapist to join our Clinical Team, to provide a high quality therapeutic and psychological service to children in our care. The primary purpose of this role will be to promote the mental health, safety and wellbeing of children in our care. Key aspects of the role are supporting our teams to recognise and address the needs of children in our care through consultation, reflective practice, training and development and providing direct assessments and therapeutic support to young people where appropriate and clinically indicated. Whilst this role is primarily within the Children’s Residential Service, there is scope for this role to evolve and develop to support other areas of the YMCA Robin Hood Group.We are proud of the other services within our Group, offering different services to support the needs of our local communities. From our 16+ Supported Housing for young people to our Newark Community and Activity Village, our aim is to provide as many opportunities to support children, young people and vulnerable adults. About You – Does this sound like you? We are ideally looking to see that you are a Registered Practitioner Psychologist (Counselling, Forensic, Educational, Clinical) or Registered Psychotherapist with the HCPC/UKCP/BACP with post qualification experience in a setting relevant to our services. From your training and experience, you will also have at least one therapeutic modality. It is essential for you to have training/experience in assessing and supporting risks and challenges. It would be highly desirable for you to have training/experience in neurodevelopmental assessments.
