Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Field Sales Representative to join our expanding team in the Greater London region. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in establishing and growing our customer base, representing our brand with professionalism and enthusiasm. Candidates should be I.T. competent with a willingness to self-learn and the ability to problem solve. Responsibilities: • Field based prospecting, pitch, and secure new business with plumbing merchants, builders merchants, and DIY stores covering Greater London and surrounding areas including Slough, Luton, & Hartfordshire., • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing effective solutions, managing client accounts & orders., • Show motivation, efficiency, initiative and the use of CRM reporting., • Account and credit management for customer accounts, • Utilise your own vehicle for travel within the region, ensuring timely and efficient coverage., • Collaborate with the existing sales team and head office to ensure cohesive strategies and brand representation. Requirements: • Reside within the Greater London region., • Possess a personal mobile phone for job-related communication., • Hold a valid driving license and have full access to a vehicle in good working order for work-related travel., • Must have previous sales experience, particularly in dealing with plumbing/builders merchants and DIY stores., • Ability to maintain CRM systems & process orders on web-based order processing system., • Proven ability to work independently and meet sales targets. Compensation: £28,000 - £35,000 The role provides benefit of; car allowance, car maintenance allowance, mobile phone allowance and commission for sales generated within your region. 20 days annual leave + 8 days bank holidays + company paid Christmas closure (approximately 8-10 days). Duties Operate van in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working order. Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transit. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff to coordinate deliveries and pickups. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transport. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations while on the road and at loading/unloading sites. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing the company professionally at all times. Support the catering team to prepare and present a variety of dishes according to client specifications and dietary requirements. Experience Previous experience in catering or a related field is preferred. Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for operating kitchen equipment efficiently. Experience as a delivery driver or in warehouse operations would be beneficial. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for interacting with stakeholders and team members effectively. Valid commercial driving licence with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated. Proven experience as a driver or in a similar role, particularly with flatbed or delivery driving. Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on vehicles as needed. Experience working in a warehouse environment is advantageous. A commitment to safety and attention to detail when handling goods during transport. Flexibility to work varied hours as required by the logistics operation.     Duties and Responsibilities: • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance systems and procedures in line with manufacturing standards for plastic packaging products, • Conduct inspections and testing of raw plastic materials (including polymers, recycled plastics, and additives), in-process production, and finished goods, • Monitor extrusion, conversion, sealing, and printing processes to ensure consistent quality and adherence to specifications, • Identify product defects such as thickness variation, sealing faults, contamination, or print inconsistencies, and carry out root cause analysis, • Implement and resolve quality issues and minimise production waste, • Ensure compliance with UK and international standards, including ISO quality and environmental standards relevant to plastic packaging, • Maintain detailed quality documentation, audit records, and compliance reports for internal and external review, • Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to address material or production-related quality concerns, • Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery timelines, • Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure efficient workflow and material availability, • Monitor production capacity, machine efficiency, and downtime, adjusting plans to optimise output, • Track and analyse KPIs such as product quality, waste reduction, and operational efficiency, • Ensure effective utilisation of resources, with a focus on reducing plastic waste and supporting sustainability initiatives, • Manage inventory, and support production planning, • Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives across production processes, • Participate in internal and external audits and ensure ongoing compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations Skills, Qualifications, and Experience: • Relevant Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, • Relevant experience in relevant field, • Strong knowledge of plastic materials, packaging production processes, and quality standards, • Understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO standards), • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications, • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills, • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams, • Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines, • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
