A developing engineering company based in the Wyke area of Bradford are looking for a Lagger due to company growth and enhancement. With free onsite parking and a train station at Low Moor, the role is easily commutable from surrounding areas such as Bradford, Leeds, Brighouse, Huddersfield and Halifax. Salary and Benefits of the Lagger position: • Hourly Rate: £23.62 (£35.43 p/h overtime), • 39 hours per week - Monday - Friday, • Monday - Thursday (7am - 3.30pm), Friday (6am - 1pm), • Location: Wyke, Bradford As the Lagger, you will be installing insulated materials around pipes, boilers, ductwork other equipment to provide thermal insulation, frost protection and fire protection. This role includes cutting and applying materials and securing them with wire as per safety regulations. Onsite, you will work as part of a team with other skilled professionals to complete maintenance and necessary work Company Information The company specialises in the design, manufacture, installation and commissioning of manufacturing plants and equipment within the chemical, water and gas sectors. They are looking for a Lagger to work on their Chemical Site. The company have a canteen onsite and free parking! Qualifications and Experience Needed of the Lagger: I am keen to speak to candidates with lagging of thermal insulation experience on industrial, manufacturing and chemical environments. The ideal candidate would have: • An apprenticeship in mechanical engineering (or an NVQ in Mechanical Engineering, City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering), • A strong background in lagging or in thermal insulation on pipework., • Valid CSCS Card.

About the Company We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of a highly regulated COMAH chemical manufacturing site.The Mechanical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of mechanical assets and utilities within a COMAH environment. Responsibilities • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and manage work orders via SAP CMMS., • Respond to breakdowns, diagnose mechanical faults, and restore equipment efficiently., • Maintain mechanical assets, site utilities, and critical equipment including steam boilers, purified water systems, cooling towers, fire pumps, and deluge systems., • Work safely under permit-to-work systems (hot work, confined space, critical lifts, excavation)., • Support cleanroom maintenance, calibration, and performance checks., • Update engineering drawings, SOPs, manuals, and maintenance records., • Participate in equipment qualification and small engineering improvement projects., • Ensure all work complies with GMP, COMAH, and ATEX requirements and is fully documented., • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and quality teams to maintain compliance and site safety., • Participate in a 1-in-6 on-call rota for out-of-hours breakdown support. Qualifications • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering., • Experience working in a COMAH environment., • CompEx EX11 Mechanical (desirable)., • Confined Space, Mechanical Jointing (M&B), IPAF/MEWP, and FLT certifications. Required Skills • Strong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills., • Experience with SAP CMMS or similar systems., • Ability to interpret and update engineering drawings., • High attention to detail and strong documentation standards., • Confident supporting audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance.
