Paraplanner - Award-Winning Financial Planning Firm Location: Newcastle (Hybrid - 2 days in-office, 3 days from home) Salary: Up to £50,000 + Performance-Based Bonus + Excellent Benefits We’re working on behalf of a respected, award-winning Independent Financial Planning & Investment Management firm to recruit a talented Paraplanner to join their growing team in Newcastle. The firm manages over £5bn in client assets and employs 250+ people across 10 UK offices. The Role You’ll work alongside Chartered Financial Planners, delivering high-quality technical support including cash flow modelling and tailored suitability reports. The firm places strong value on quality of work and provides a clear development pathway for Paraplanners at all levels. Key Responsibilities • Analyse client data and financial arrangements, • Build cash flow models and write detailed suitability reports, • Collaborate with advisers to design financial solutions, • Provide technical input to the wider team, • Participate in peer reviews, team meetings, and ongoing process improvements, • Support and mentor more junior team members, • Attend client meetings where required What We’re Looking For • CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (minimum requirement), • At least 3 years’ experience in a paraplanning role, • Strong understanding of financial planning and tax considerations, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks, • Experience with systems such as Voyant, FE Analytics, or Curo (advantageous) Progression & Development This firm supports two clear career tracks: • For those interested in advice, they now offer a Financial Planning Associate programme - a structured trainee route into an adviser role and support for further qualifications Reward Package • Salary up to £50,000 depending on experience, • Performance-based Paraplanner bonus scheme (based on individual output, with an average payout of approx. 9% last year), • Hybrid working (2 days in-office, 3 days remote), • 28 days holiday + bank holidays, • Private Medical Insurance (PMI), • Pension scheme, • Group Income Protection & Life Cover, • Health cash plans, • Flexible benefits platform If you're an experienced Paraplanner ready to take the next step in your career, we’d love to hear from you.
