Housing Officer (Dispersal Accommodation)\n Wales\n £32,000 - £35,000 per annum\n Full-time | Permanent\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe are currently recruiting for compassionate and proactive Housing Officers to join a fast-paced and rewarding environment supporting vulnerable individuals across Wales, predominantly covering either North Wales, Swansea or Cardiff.\n\nThis role focuses on supporting Service Users, ensuring their welfare, safety, and successful move-on from the dispersal accommodation. You will manage a large and varied caseload while also overseeing a portfolio of properties, ensuring they are safe, well-maintained, and compliant.\n\nThis is a highly dynamic role requiring strong organisation, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting people.\n\nIf you're a dedicated and resilient individual looking to take the next step in your housing or support career in Wales then please get in touch\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nService User Support\n\nManage a caseload of approximately (Apply online only) Service Users\nConduct inductions and support Service Users settling into accommodation\nCarry out regular welfare checks and property visits\nSignpost individuals to relevant services such as healthcare and local support agencies\nReport and manage incidents, safeguarding concerns, and absconding cases\nEnsure timely move-on in line with contractual requirementsProperty & Portfolio Management\n\nConduct property inspections and report maintenance issues\nCoordinate repairs and ensure properties meet health & safety standards\nPrepare properties for new occupants and manage voids effectively\nSupport inventory management and minor repairs where requiredCollaboration & Communication\n\nWork closely with internal teams and external stakeholders\nAttend meetings and contribute to service delivery improvements\nMaintain accurate, up-to-date records and documentation\nSupport colleagues and provide cover when requiredGeneral Responsibilities\n\nEnsure compliance with company procedures and relevant legislation\nParticipate in training and continuous professional development\nRemain responsive to communications and operational demands, including emergenciesWhat We're Looking For\n\nExperience working in housing, support work, or a similar role\nStrong organisational skills and ability to manage a high-volume caseload\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\nUnderstanding of safeguarding and supporting vulnerable individuals (desirable)\nFull UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle (essential)Why Apply?\n\nOpportunity to make a real impact supporting vulnerable individuals\nVaried and rewarding role with no two days the same\nSupportive team environment\nOngoing training and development opportunities \n\nBenefits Package\n\n33 days annual leave (including bank holidays)\nLife cover (2x basic salary)\nWestfield Health membership - cashback on health services and discounts for retailers and gyms\nLaptop, phone, and any other required equipment provided\nMileage expenses - claimable from home\n6-month probationary period\nEmployer pension contributions (4% employer, 4% employee)\nReferral bonus scheme \n\nSuccessful applicants will require Counter Terrorism Clearance (CTC).
