HR Generalist \n Full-time office-based role \n Salary £35,000-£40,000 \n We are recruiting for an experienced HR Generalist to join a busy, site-based Human Resources team within a well-established manufacturing environment. This is a full-time, office-based position offering the opportunity to play a key role in supporting both operational and strategic HR activities across the site. \n Working closely with managers and employees, you will provide hands-on HR support across the full employee lifecycle, helping to drive people initiatives, enhance employee engagement and ensure HR best practice is consistently applied. \n Key Responsibilities \n\n • Support the delivery of HR strategies, policies and procedures across the business.\n, • Partner with managers to provide practical HR guidance on employee relations, performance management, absence, conduct and capability matters.\n, • Assist with recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning activities to ensure staffing requirements are met.\n, • Coordinate learning and development initiatives, helping to build employee capability and support succession planning.\n, • Support the implementation of people-focused projects and organisational change initiatives.\n, • Contribute to employee engagement activities and help foster a positive workplace culture.\n, • Work closely with leadership teams to provide coaching and advice on people management matters.\n, • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies and HR best practice.\n, • Produce HR reports, monitor key people metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives.\n, • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure confidentiality is upheld at all times.\n, • Collaborate with wider HR and shared service teams to ensure an effective and professional HR service.\n, • Undertake additional HR duties and projects as required.\n\n Skills & Experience Required \n\n • CIPD qualified or educated to degree level in a relevant subject.\n, • Previous experience within a generalist HR position.\n, • Sound understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.\n, • Experience supporting employee relations cases and advising managers.\n, • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively at all levels.\n, • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.\n, • Confident using HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.\n, • Professional, discreet and able to handle confidential information appropriately.\n\n What's on Offer? \n\n • Opportunity to join a successful and internationally recognised organisation.\n, • Annual bonus scheme.\n, • 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays.\n, • Private medical insurance.\n, • Supportive and collaborative working environment.\n\n If you are interested in this role, please apply or contact Rachel Dunham at Reed Ipswich for further details. \n
