About the Role The Senior Author Specialist ensures outstanding support for authors and journal stakeholders is provided during the post‑publication corrections process. This involves resolving and routing queries, monitoring team performance, reducing backlogs, and driving continuous improvement in processes and documentation. You will act as the team's internal spokesperson, escalating issues appropriately, maintaining high standards of author service, and providing training, mentoring, and guidance to new and existing staff to ensure consistency, efficiency, and quality across the team. Duties of the role will include: • Respond to queries from authors and other journal stakeholders within agreed timeframes, providing guidance and resolution of issues in a timely and professional manner., • Manage the process of post-publication correction of journal articles according to OUP and wider industry policies and standards.
