Our client is looking for an experienced Inventory Controller to take ownership of stock management across outsourced manufacturing partners and internal operations within a fast-growing, innovation-led technology business. You’ll work closely with engineering, procurement, operations, and manufacturing partners to ensure materials are available, inventory is optimised, and reporting is accurate across multiple locations. Why This Role is Great In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to: • Take full ownership of inventory visibility across outsourced manufacturing partners and internal stock locations, • Build and improve scalable inventory processes that support ongoing business growth, • Work closely with OEM/CEM partners to improve reporting accuracy, responsiveness, and delivery performance, • Align stock availability with demand forecasts, production schedules, and operational priorities, • Help reduce excess stock, minimise shortages, and improve overall inventory accuracy, • Support exciting engineering and development projects by ensuring material readiness and supply continuity, • Influence cost optimisation initiatives, including BOM cost reductions and stock efficiency improvements, • Act as a key bridge between procurement, engineering, commercial, and operations teams This is a highly collaborative role where your input will genuinely shape how inventory and supply chain operations evolve as the business continues to scale. About You You may already be working as an: • Inventory Controller, • Stock Controller, • Materials Controller, • Supply Chain Controller, • Inventory & Planning Specialist, • Materials Planner, • Supply Chain Analyst We’d love to hear from candidates who bring experience in areas such as: • Inventory management within manufacturing, engineering, electronics, or hardware environments, • Working with outsourced manufacturing models and OEM/CEM partners, • ERP/MRP systems such as Sage MRP or similar platforms, • Managing inventory across multiple locations or third-party partners, • Demand planning, stock forecasting, or material scheduling, • BOM cost reduction initiatives, • Supporting production, engineering, or NPI environments You’ll likely enjoy problem-solving, working with data, improving processes, and collaborating across teams to keep operations running smoothly.
