Technical Manager - Non-Chemical Disinfection Systems Manufacturer. Overview This is an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Technical Manager to join a growing organisation operating in regulated, safety-critical environments. This senior role sits within the leadership team and is responsible for aligning technical, manufacturing, and commercial functions to drive product performance, operational excellence, and business growth. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting customer success, enabling sales, and ensuring that products meet both market demands and regulatory requirements across air, surface, and water disinfection solutions. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership & Strategy • Define and lead technical strategy to support innovation, product performance, and lifecycle management, • Act as the technical authority across disinfection and verification solutions, • Provide technical expertise to support complex sales opportunities, • Translate customer needs into robust technical solutions, • Support key customer interactions, including presentations and negotiations, • Contribute to bids, tenders, and proposals, • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure scalable and robust product designs, • Support resolution of production issues and drive root cause analysis, • Improve quality, reliability, and production efficiency, • Feed market and customer insights into product development, • Work closely with R&D on new technologies, validation, and certification, • Act as a key interface between technical, commercial, and operational teams, • Align customer commitments with operational delivery, • Establish and monitor technical performance metrics, • Drive cost optimisation and value engineering initiatives, • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory standards, • Manage technical risk across projects and product lifecycle, • Support audits and certification processes We are looking for: • Strong technical background in engineering, science, or a related discipline, • Significant experience within regulated or safety-critical environments, • Proven ability to support sales through technical expertise, • Experience working closely with manufacturing or operational teams, • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts, • Demonstrated experience in cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management, • Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field, • Extensive industry experience (typically 10+ years) If you think this sounds like you, please apply and we can schedule a time to discuss it!
