What You Will Be Doing: • Overseeing lab & office spaces – Managing building systems, lab infrastructure, and equipment servicing (including CL II hoods, centrifuges, incubators, pipette clinic etc)., • Ensuring compliance & safety as well as working collaboratively with the H & S Manager to conduct audits & inspections., • Leading a team – Managing a team of Facilities Assistant & Lab Support Technicians, ensuring things like lab consumables & equipment servicing, run smoothly., • Managing vendors & budgets – Securing cost-effective contracts and high service levels., • Driving sustainability – Implementing energy-saving initiatives and environmental improvements., • Planning refurbishments & fit-outs – Hands-on involvement in lab/office builds and upgrades.
