About the Role We are entering a pivotal stage in building our European e-commerce organisation. Historically, trading and website operations have been managed from China. Now, we’re transitioning these responsibilities into our newly established UK hub—and you’ll be leading that transformation. As E-Commerce Trading & Operations Manager (UK & EU), you will take end-to-end ownership of site and app operations while optimising commercial trading performance. You’ll work closely with the Head of E-commerce to ensure smooth knowledge transfer, implement best practices, and establish scalable, localised processes to support the UK and broader EU region as we accelerate growth. This role blends hands-on execution with strategic oversight, supporting the launch of a new platform, managing day-to-day operations, and driving digital trading excellence. Key Responsibilities 1. Website & App Operations Content & Launches • Manage weekly homepage, navigation updates, product drops, and campaign rollouts (e.g., bundles, coupons, GWP)., • Own launch QA across products, functionality, links, translations, and mobile UX. System & Process Management • Ensure accurate stock visibility and readiness., • Monitor site/app uptime, load speed, checkout health, and coordinate bug resolution. Compliance & Security • Uphold compliance with consent management, privacy UX, payment flows, and product requirements (CE mark, COO, labelling). Cross-Functional Collaboration • Work with:, • Merchandising on assortment readiness, • Logistics on SLA communication, • Customer Care on FAQ updates and escalation handling, • Marketing to support omnichannel campaigns 2. Trading & Performance Trading Calendar Management • Build and execute a trading calendar aligned with product launches, seasonal moments, and regional holidays., • Coordinate site/app experience with media plans and offline retail initiatives., • Identify performance risks/opportunities (e.g., traffic dips, stockouts, competitive pricing). Digital Marketing Alignment • Translate marketing/media plans into high-converting onsite experiences and tactical offers., • Work with Marketing to maximise ROI on advertising spend. Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) • Monitor daily KPIs: traffic, CVR, AOV, GMV, funnel health, etc., • Drive localisation improvements (UX, payments, delivery, translations, PDP/LP VM)., • Enhance CRM integration across email, app push, and notifications for acquisition & retention., • Flag and resolve risks early (e.g., low stock, UX blockers, compliance flags). Reporting & Analysis • Deliver weekly trading dashboards and present actionable insights to stakeholders., • Recommend data-driven strategies to enhance site performance and commercial impact. Candidate Profile Required Experience & Skills: • 6+ years’ e-commerce experience, with proven capability in both site/app operations and digital trading, • Strong understanding of website back-end tools, CMS platforms, and content workflows, • Demonstrated ability to manage trading calendars, promotions, and align with digital marketing teams, • Commercially minded and performance-driven, comfortable using BI tools and analytics platforms, • Detail-oriented operator with a strategic mindset, • Strong track record of improving CVR and AOV through onsite and promotional actions, • Familiarity with app commerce mechanics and mobile-specific CX, • Collaborative experience across merchandising, marketing, logistics, and product teams, • Fluent in English; Mandarin proficiency is a strong plus due to internal collaboration with China HQ, • Additional EU languages (e.g., German, French, Spanish, Italian) are a bonus, • Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe and to China Why Join Us?
