Location: DE24 Training Location: DE74 Shift Patterns: Mornings, Days & Nights Working Patterns: Monday-Friday, Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday Job Type: Full-time Quest Employment are recruiting for experienced HLOP Drivers / Warehouse Operatives to work for our client based in the DE24 area. Successful candidates will be responsible for the safe, accurate and efficient execution of day-to-day warehouse activities, supporting operational performance and customer service within a busy warehouse environment. Please note: Initial training will take place in the DE74 area before moving to the permanent site in DE24. Shift Patterns We are recruiting across the following shifts: • Mornings: 06:00 - 14:00, • Days: 14:00 - 22:00, • Nights: 22:00 - 06:00 Working patterns may include: • Monday-Friday, • Tuesday-Saturday, • Sunday-Thursday Specific shift and working pattern will be confirmed during the recruitment process. Key Responsibilities • Safely operate HLOP trucks in line with training, certification and site procedures, • Complete daily pre-use checks and report any defects or safety concerns, • Follow all health and safety requirements, including PPE and safe working practices, • Safely operate at height within racking systems, • Move, replenish, retrieve and store stock accurately within very narrow aisle racking, • Ensure stock is correctly located and recorded using warehouse systems, • Use WMS/RF systems accurately, • Support picking, replenishment, loading, unloading and general warehouse duties when required, • Work flexibly across HLOP and other warehouse activities, • Maintain high levels of productivity and accuracy, • Report stock discrepancies, damages or operational issues promptly, • Work closely with colleagues and supervisors, • Maintain a strong safety-first approach at all times, • Support improvements to warehouse safety, efficiency and processesRequirements, • Previous warehouse experience, • Previous experience operating HLOP trucks in a warehouse or logistics environment, • Valid HLOP licence (RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent) or willingness to be trained, • Experience using WMS/RF systems is advantageous, • Experience with other MHE equipment is an advantage, • Good understanding of health and safety procedures, • Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness, • Comfortable working at height within racking systems, • Basic numeracy and literacy skills, • Good communication and teamwork skills, • Reliable, flexible and proactive approach to work, • Ability to work safely and accurately in a busy warehouse environmentWhy Apply?, • Full-time warehouse opportunities, • Choice of morning, day or night shifts, • Multiple working patterns available, • Training provided where required, • Opportunity to develop your MHE experience, • Work within a busy and professional warehouse environment If you have HLOP experience and are looking for your next warehouse opportunity, apply today!
