Finance Assistant • Annual Salary: £16,200 - £18,000 (Pro Rata) (£13.68-£15.38 Per Hour), • Location: On-site Day-to-day of the role: Credit Card & Transaction Processing • Analyse and process company credit card transactions., • Ensure accurate coding and allocation within Xero / Construction Manager., • Manage and review weekly employee timesheets., • Update labour cost data within Excel and upload to Construction Manager., • Process weekly and monthly payroll submissions., • Manage pension submissions and compliance., • Liaise with suppliers (including utilities) to resolve queries., • Match purchase orders (POs) and goods received notes (GRNs) to invoices., • Investigate and resolve discrepancies proactively., • Code and input supplier invoices into Xero / Construction Manager., • Reconcile supplier statements., • Review plant hire invoices against site records., • Manage the Accounts inbox and prioritise queries., • Support reception as required., • Assist with rolling cashflow forecasts., • Support month-end close processes., • Assist with audit preparation and documentation., • Perform subcontractor CIS checks, reconciliations, and submissions., • Handle subcontractor queries professionally., • Process subcontractor payment certificates., • Raise and process client invoices., • Reconcile subcontractor statements., • Assist with payment runs., • Strong working knowledge of Xero., • AAT Level 2 (or equivalent)., • Experience working in a similar finance role., • Ability to process accounts to Trial Balance level., • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)., • High level of accuracy and attention to detail., • Experience with Eque2 Construction Manager., • Familiarity with Hubdoc., • Honest, reliable, and trustworthy., • Strong work ethic with a proactive mindset., • Able to work independently and as part of a team., • Company pension scheme., • Life assurance., • Company accident cover., • Team events.
