To make this ambition a reality, building world-class commercial capability across Marketing and Sales is critical. We're now looking for a Commercial Capabilities Controller to lead this agenda - a high-impact role at the heart of our Commercial community. Reporting into a Global Marketing Director and working closely with senior leaders across Marketing and Sales, you'll champion capability building across the business. This is a broad, influential role with visibility at SLT and ELT level, giving you the opportunity to shape how we develop skills, leadership and future-fit capability across the organisation. You'll be trusted to set the direction, build the roadmap and bring programmes to life - adapting as our strategy and capability needs evolve. Within your first year, you'll have completed a full capability assessment across Marketing and Sales, defined a clear development plan and begun delivering impactful programmes that directly support our long-term growth strategy. What you'll be doing? • Leading a comprehensive capability assessment across Marketing and Sales and translating this into clear, actionable roadmaps, • Designing and delivering flagshipcapability programmes such as Marketing Academy, Sales / Commercial Academy and other functional academies, working with internal L&D and external partners, • Driving ongoing Marketing capability initiatives (e.g. bite-size learning programmes), bringingbest-in-class external thinking into the business, • Building strong, collaborative relationships across the Commercial community and wider organisation, • Playing an active role in wider company priorities, including simplification, process improvement and agency capability, • An eperienced leader with a strong understanding of how complex, commercial organisations operate, • Proven ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders, confidently presenting ideas and recommendations, • A genuine passion forcapability building, learning and organisational development, • Strong communication skills and experience managing agencies and external partners, • Highly organised, delivery-focused and comfortable operating with autonomy, • Collaborative by nature, with a track record of working cross-functionally and bringing people on the journey, • Competitive salary, • Car Allowance, • Bonus, • Up to 7.5% pension, • Life assurance, • Wide range of online and in-house training JBRP1_UKTJ
