The Role We are looking for a Conversion & Experience Optimisation Strategist to join our growing strategy team, working alongside our CX Strategist to shape how we optimise premium digital experiences for some of the world’s most respected fashion, lifestyle, and luxury brands. This role is focused on brand-led optimisation, ensuring that conversion improvements enhance the overall experience rather than erode brand equity. You will help define how we test, learn, and optimise at a strategic level, balancing commercial performance with best-in-class design, storytelling, and usability. You will sit at the intersection of brand, experience design, and performance, bringing structured experimentation, behavioural insight, and strong judgement to everything we do post-launch. Our approach to optimisation and testing is about meaningful, considered improvement over time. This role joins an established CX function and will work as a peer to our CX Strategist, with shared ownership of insights, experimentation, and optimisation across our client base. What You’ll Do During Projects • Partner with design and strategy teams to ensure conversion principles are embedded into experience design from the outset., • Translate research and insights into clear optimisation hypotheses that respect brand tone, visual language, and customer expectations., • Review IA, UX flows, PDPs, PLPs, checkout and overall customer journeys through both a conversion and brand lens., • Support workshops and stakeholder sessions focused on experience effectiveness and commercial impact., • Define measurement frameworks and success metrics ahead of launch. Post-Project Ongoing Success • Lead CRO and experience optimisation programmes for retained clients., • Design and execute structured testing and experimentation roadmaps, including A/B and multivariate testing where appropriate., • Interpret behavioural data, qualitative feedback, and test results to produce clear, confident recommendations., • Own and evolve our Insights & Experiments offering, helping define Limesharp’s point of view on premium CRO., • Contribute to Quarterly Business Reviews with strategic insight, testing ideas with a commercial lens, • Support optimisation strategy across our Loyalty as a Service offering, ensuring loyalty mechanics improve long-term value, not just short-term conversion. Thought Leadership & Client Presence • Act as a senior, confident voice in client meetings, able to explain trade-offs between brand, usability, and performance., • Present insights and results clearly to senior stakeholders., • Contribute to case studies, credentials, and thought leadership., • Be willing and excited to represent Limesharp at industry events, talks, and panels. Who You Are • Brand-led and conversion-minded - You care deeply about performance but never at the expense of brand integrity., • Commercially sharp - You understand how experience decisions impact revenue, AOV, retention, and lifetime value., • Data-confident but not data-led to a fault - You use data to inform decisions, not replace judgement., • Experienced in CRO beyond tactics - You think in programmes, not isolated tests., • Persuasive and articulate - You are comfortable challenging assumptions and explaining complex ideas simply., • Collaborative and time generous - You enjoy working alongside designers, developers, and fellow strategists, and sharing knowledge., • Comfortable working with premium and luxury brands where aesthetics, tone, and restraint matter., • London-based or able to attend in-person meetings when required. Experience & Skills • Proven experience in CRO, experimentation, or experience optimisation, ideally within e-commerce., • Strong understanding of UX, usability principles, and digital design best practice., • Experience with analytics and optimisation tools such as Google Analytics, GA4, Hotjar, Contentsquare, VWO, Visually, Optimizely, or similar., • Ability to combine qualitative research and quantitative data into coherent insight., • Agency experience or experience working across multiple brands is highly desirable., • Background in fashion, lifestyle, luxury, or premium retail is a strong advantage.
