You will provide high-quality, trauma-informed support to individuals and families affected by domestic abuse, helping them to increase safety, rebuild confidence, and move towards independent living. The role - Domestic Abuse Support Worker • Provide one to one practical and emotional support to survivors of domestic abuse., • Carry out risk and needs assessments, including safety planning., • Manage a caseload and maintain accurate, confidential records., • Advocate on behalf of service users with external agencies (e.g. housing, police, social care)., • Support clients in accessing accommodation, benefits, legal advice, and other specialist services., • Facilitate group support sessions and awareness workshops where appropriate.
