Due to our ongoing growth and business demands, we are recruiting a Recruitment Coordinator. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, the Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for supporting end-to-end recruitment administration and onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for candidates and hiring managers. The role plays a key part in attracting, screening, and onboarding talent by coordinating recruitment activities and managing all associated administrative tasks in line with company and regulatory requirements. Key Activities: • Support recruitment campaigns by liaising with hiring managers and the recruitment team, • Review and sift CVs against job requirements to shortlist suitable candidates, • Conduct initial candidate screening (e.g., phone or virtual pre-screen interviews), • Coordinate and schedule interviews, including panel availability and logistics, • Prepare interview packs and ensure hiring managers are briefed, • Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing updates and feedback, • Manage job requisitions and maintain applicant tracking systems, • Administer offer processes, including drafting offer letters and contracts, • Coordinate pre-employment checks (e.g., right to work, references, security clearance if required), • Handle full onboarding administration for new starters, • Prepare and issue new starter documentation and ensure completion prior to start date, • Liaise with HR, IT, payroll, and line managers to ensure smooth onboarding, • Maintain accurate employee and candidate records in line with GDPR and company policies Key Outputs: • Shortlisted candidate pipelines aligned with role requirements, • Efficiently scheduled and coordinated interview processes, • Timely and accurate offer letters and onboarding documentation, • Completed pre-employment checks and compliance records, • Fully onboarded new starters ready for day one, • Up-to-date recruitment and onboarding trackers, • Positive candidate experience and communication standards, • Accurate and compliant HR and recruitment records Training and Development Expectations: • Training on internal recruitment and HR systems (e.g., applicant tracking systems), • Understanding of hiring processes within regulated industries (e.g., nuclear sector compliance), • Development of interviewing and candidate assessment skills, • Training in employment law basics and GDPR compliance, • Exposure to workforce planning and talent acquisition strategies, • Continuous development in HR coordination, recruitment best practices, and stakeholder engagement Person Specification: • Experience in recruitment coordination, HR administration, or resourcing support, • Proven ability to sift CVs and support candidate screening, • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously, • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), • Ability to coordinate interviews and manage stakeholder schedules, • High attention to detail, especially with documentation and compliance, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), • Experience handling confidential information professionally Desirable: • Experience working within engineering, technical, or regulated industries, • Knowledge of onboarding processes and pre-employment checks, • Understanding of employment legislation and recruitment best practices Personal Attributes: • Proactive and highly organised, • Strong interpersonal skills with a candidate-focused approach, • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, • Professional, discreet, and reliable, • Team-oriented with a flexible approach to workload Benefits: • 25 days annual leave per year rising by 1 day for every 2 years worked (max 30 days) + Bank Holidays, • 8% employer pension contribution with employee 1% contribution (salary sacrifice), • Individual and family private health care, • Dental insurance for employees, • Cashplan – Level 2 cover, • Life assurance (4x salary), • Employee assistance programme (EAP), • Income Protection, • Professional Body Membership, • Tusker Electric car scheme (salary sacrifice), • Cycle to Work scheme (salary sacrifice), • Babbel – learn a new language, • ·Generous family leave
