Financial Controller – Operations

• Provide financial leadership and support to Operations and the assembly facility at Hethel, • Produce monthly management accounts, including ongoing P&L analysis and full balance sheet reconciliations, • Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes, • Provide financial insight for operational and commercial decision-making, • Build relationships with operational business partners and drive continuous improvement, • Develop, monitor and report on key site KPIs, • Establish and improve accounting systems, integrating information from new and existing systems, • Support development of the Operations Performance Review Pack, • Identify and implement improvements to Finance processes and practices, • Provide financial leadership and help develop capability within the wider team, • Work with stakeholders to resolve issues and improve operational performance, • Collaborate with the Head of Operations Finance, site and group operational managers, Group Finance, Finance Director, and wider Operations and Finance teams, • An accountancy qualification, or significant relevant experience with strong, up-to-date knowledge of accounting and financial principles and practices, • Previous experience working with a manufacturing ERP system, • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, • Strong knowledge of cost accounting, risk analysis, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting, • Experience identifying and implementing improvements across financial processes, • Strong stakeholder management skills, • Strong organisational and leadership skills, • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to demanding deadlines, • SAP experience would be advantageous, • Candidates must be eligible to work in UK without VISA sponsorship Demonstrates strong financial leadership and expertise in accounting principles, with a focus on budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
