Atlanta Beltline, Inc. (ABI) seeks a detail-oriented, digitally savvy communicator to join its Communications team. The Marketing Manager will lead ABIs digital presence by managing the website, overseeing email marketing strategy and campaigns, coordinating marketing sponsor fulfillment, and integrating campaigns across channels. Additionally, this role serves as a liaison to the Economic Development department, collaborating on strategy and planning for all communication-based initiatives while supporting execution in partnership with their team. This position strengthens direct community engagement, builds measurable campaigns, and ensures ABIs digital platforms work together to amplify impact and advance the organizations mission of equity, inclusion, and connectivity. This position reports to the Vice President of Communications and Media Relations and collaborates closely with fellow communications and Beltline team members. Responsibilities include creating and curating content, monitoring analytics, providing actionable insights to optimize engagement, ensuring consistent branding and messaging across all digital platforms, and coordinating cross-departmental communications with Economic Development. Superior writing, editing, and oral communication skills are required, along with the ability to produce polished, engaging content under tight deadlines across multiple mediums. Candidates should demonstrate strategic thinking with a creative approach, familiarity with digital marketing best practices, and a deep understanding of the Atlanta Beltlines mission and the communities it serves. The Marketing Manager will promote the Vision, Mission and Core Values of ABI while fostering a collegial work environment. Key Responsibilities Website Management • Serve as primary internal lead for day-to-day updates to the Atlanta Beltline website., • Create, edit, and publish content using website modules in coordination with Communications team members and consultants., • Ensure that all website content is accurate, timely, and consistent with Beltline branding and messaging., • Coordinate the launch and ongoing management of ABIs merchandise program with an external consultant, ensuring activities and messaging are aligned across website, email, and other owned channels., • Implement SEO best practices to optimize content visibility and audience engagement., • Monitor website analytics to inform content strategy, improve user experience, and report key metrics., • Develop and manage ABIs email communications strategy across newsletters, event announcements, and campaign-specific outreach., • Coordinate with departments to maintain editorial calendars and ensure best practices for content, segmentation, and timing., • Build and manage email lists, tailoring messaging for diverse audiences., • Write compelling copy and create visuals that align with the Beltlines brand voice., • Track and analyze campaign performance (open rates, CTRs, conversions), providing insights and recommendations., • Ensure compliance with accessibility, equity, and data privacy standards., • Serve as the primary contact for sponsor and marketing partner recognition across ABI channels and creative assets. Coordinate commitments and support partners with assets and guidance to activate effectively., • Vet sponsorship, partnership, and advertising opportunities to ensure alignment with Beltline goals and standards and manage execution of approved placements., • Maintain strong sponsor and marketing partner relationships in partnership with Communications and Development., • Manage opportunities where we provide name usage to partners or sponsor external events to reach target audiences., • Act as the primary communications liaison to the Economic Development (ED) department, collaborating on strategy and planning for all communication-based initiatives and supporting execution alongside the ED Senior Project Manager., • Manage assigned portfolios to provide timely updates to the Communications team for deployment across social, creative, PR, and other communications channels, ensuring unified campaign execution., • Support events and campaigns by aligning website, email, social media, and press outreach. Provide project management assistance across multiple communications initiatives., • Monitor and report on performance across website, email, and sponsor initiatives., • Provide insights to the Communications team to inform content strategy and decision-making., • Adapt and repurpose content from social media, creative services, and consultants for website and email use., • Provide light-touch content creation, including blog formatting, newsletter writing, and basic web copy., • Coordinate digital campaigns across ABI departments to ensure consistent messaging, branding, and timing across owned platforms., • Oversee communications for ABIs merchandise program in partnership with an external consultant, ensuring promotions and content are integrated across website, email, and social channels. Qualifications • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, Journalism, or related field., • 35 years of experience in digital marketing, website management, or email communications, ideally in a mission-driven or community-focused organization., • Hands-on experience with content management systems (e.g., Storyblok, WordPress, Drupal) and email marketing platforms (e.g., Pardot, Mailchimp, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud)., • Proven ability to coordinate digital campaigns, work with external consultants or vendors, and integrate messaging across multiple channels., • Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics, CRM dashboards) to track performance and inform strategy., • Strong writing, editing, and basic content creation skills, including newsletters, blogs, web copy, and light visual content., • Experience managing sponsor or partnership communications and ensuring digital recognition across channels., • Strategic thinker with strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment., • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and community engagement, with an understanding of the Atlanta Beltlines mission and the communities it serves. Skills & Competencies • Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities with experience using project management software such as Asana, Monday, etc., • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content for diverse audiences., • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with design and content tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite., • Ability to analyze data and digital metrics to optimize campaigns and inform decision-making., • Collaborative, flexible, and solutions-oriented team player with strong interpersonal skills., • Creative and strategic mindset, capable of integrating messaging across website, email, social, and other owned channels while maintaining brand consistency., • Ability to work on occasional evenings or weekends to support events or campaign deadlines.
