JOB SUMMARY The Demand Specialist is responsible for maintaining internal forecast schedules based on customer schedules and Elevate Aircraft Seating Master Production Schedule. They will collaborate with Program Management, Planning, Purchasing, Logistics, and Accounting to complete out the process lifecycle of customer deliverables and shipments. They will be under the direction of the Planning Manager. SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES - Essential Functions (Other duties and projects may be assigned or requested.) Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions • Manage all activities required to commit, book, and release all customer orders., • Manage overall Production and Spares purchase orders and sales orders in ERP system., • Ensure responsibility for all activities required to commit, book, and release all customer orders., • Coordinate monthly demand and sales forecasting process in close collaboration with the sales teams., • Follow up and close out spare and intercompany orders and backorder; solve out of stock issues., • Conduct forecast maintenance with feedback from Planning Manager., • Collaborate with Planning Manager on ERP demand alignment and take action accordingly., • Communicate demand gaps and significant forecast changes to Planning., • Manage and publish visual metrics, presentations, and reports for internal reporting, including project review presentations., • Report, resolve, and escalate as needed., • Set goals in consistency with company objectives and adapts plans to changing environments., • Maintain a safe, secure, and legal work environment, adhering to all Company policies and procedures., • Contribute to team effort by achieving related results as needed., • Maintain and protect the confidentiality of the Company’s information and products.
