At Primrose School of Bolingbrook, youll find: • Exclusive and time-tested Balanced Learning curriculum, delivered in a digital platform for easier delivery and mastery, • Competitive pay and benefits, • A joyful and welcoming work environment, • Fellow leaders who nurture and support the school, • Engaged, caring franchise owners, • Warm and caring culture that promotes a work-life balanceNurture a childs first five years by:, • Creating a culture of support within the school for staff, families and children, • Cultivating an environment committed to health and safety, • Learning all essential functions for each position in the school so you can support and inspire, • Managing operation of the school in the Directors absence, • Assisting the Director in ensuring maximum enrollment and effective cost controlRESPONSIBILITIES, • Understands, promotes, and models Primrose School of Plainfield's vision, purpose and mission., • Provide superior customer service to all external and internal customers., • Assists in keeping school physically well kept, attractive, and safe., • Provides verbal recognition and acceptance to children while providing clear and consistent expectations for the children's behavior, • Attends all required staff meetings, workshops, open houses, and school functions/events., • Maintains a professional personal appearance, attitude, and work behavior in adhering to the guidelines offered in the Employee Handbook., • Actively develops and maintains positive staff relationships and parent partnerships and manages all resources effectively, • Trains new staff per Primrose standards, ensuring that each staff fully understands Primrose Schools philosophy and all policies and procedures., • Ability to perform all of the essential functions for each position in the School, including, but not limited to, other Leadership Team positions, Teacher, Food Service Teacher, and Bus Driver., • Develop programs designed to involve the parents and community in school activities., • Conduct tours of the school and interact with children and parents about programs/curriculum, • Assists the Director with necessary management responsibilities to manage all aspects of the school including business management, campus environment, and marketing., • Assists the Director with to achieve maximum enrollment and effective cost management., • Assumes responsibility to manage operation of the school in the Director's absence.QUALIFICATIONS, • Must be Director Qualified and meet all requirements stipulated by the state for this position, • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience and 2 years of classroom teaching experience in an accredited early childcare facility, • Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality, • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress, • Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment, • Highly professional and dependable, • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the internet, • Previous professional experience highly preferred, • A philosophy that puts children first., • A degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.Salary Range: 36K to 45K annually Shift Schedule: 8 hour shift between the hours of 6:30 am to 6:30 pm Ready to Make a Difference?
