Job Description Cornerstone Christian Schools is seeking a dedicated Registrar to serve as a key member of our Student Development Team. The Registrar plays a vital role in maintaining accurate student records, overseeing enrollment processes, supporting academic scheduling, and ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and a heart for serving students and families in alignment with our mission to take the Gospel to all the world and every generation. Key Responsibilities • Maintain accurate and complete student academic records for current students, graduates, and withdrawn students., • Process transcript requests and determine GPA, class rank, and academic standings for honors societies, college applications, scholarships, and official reporting., • Archive student records in accordance with school policy and state/federal regulations., • Coordinate financial clearance with the Business Office prior to the release of records., • Evaluate and input academic records for new students, identifying credits earned and alignment with graduation requirements., • Meet with students and families to explain academic tracks (e.g., distinguished, recommended) and assist with course planning based on future goals., • Monitor student progress toward graduation; audit student records and graduation programs regularly., • Oversee and execute the semester and end-of-year rollover processes within the student information system., • Support student withdrawals by coordinating necessary documentation, verifying records, and ensuring compliance with school policies and regulatory requirements., • Collaborate with Middle and High School Principals to develop the master schedule each academic year., • Build and maintain individual student schedules for secondary students., • Assist students with schedule adjustments during the start of each semester in coordination with Student Development Advisors., • Oversee and maintain the school’s Student Information System, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of academic data across all grade levels., • Provide data, reports, and statistical summaries to school leadership as requested., • Maintain documentation of enrollment trends, class sizes, graduation rates, and other academic data for internal and external reporting., • High School Diploma or equivalent., • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Administration, or related field desirable., • Minimum of 2 years of experience in registrar services, academic administration, or school records management., • Prior experience with transcript evaluation and academic scheduling in a school setting strongly preferred., • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy., • Proficient in managing student information systems., • Knowledge of high school graduation requirements and transcript evaluation., • Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with students, families, and staff. Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, employees will frequently be required to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, talk and hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to handle, feel or operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 15 pounds occasionally, and more than 40 pounds infrequently with assistance.
