Execute routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and fluid replacements to keep vehicles running smoothly. Repair or replace critical components like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brakes, auto body parts, and welding repairs to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for disassembly, repair, and reassembly of vehicle parts while adhering to safety standards. Interpret technical schematics and repair manuals to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical systems and mechanical issues. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and offering maintenance recommendations to enhance vehicle longevity. Experience Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair across various makes and models; dealership experience is highly valued. Familiarity with diesel engine repair, auto estimating procedures, and GM vehicles is preferred. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics software and electrical systems troubleshooting. Knowledge of wheel alignment techniques, suspension systems, tire service procedures, and brake repair methods. Skilled in working with vehicle maintenance protocols including oil changes, transmission repairs, powertrain servicing, and auto body repairs. Ability to operate welding equipment and perform basic auto body welding repairs when necessary.
