The IT Operations Analyst performs core system support functions, project manages implementations and executes maintenance of Core Banking system and all ancillary systems through software release management. Additional responsibilities include software/hardware support and maintaining documentation. Responsibilities: Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following: • Support the day-to-day functions of core banking processes and ancillary applications through core system configuration, production change request, and support of critical banking processes., • Documents procedures and resource documentation, and records system changes for troubleshooting and auditing., • Support the development of new products and/or processes on core banking system platforms by providing subject matter expertise on platform specifications and requirements., • Analyze and deploy process automation with OpCon job scheduler., • Core banking system release management, AIX patch management, service pack deployment, system backups, DR system recovery, VIOS updates, HMC updates, TLV updates and daily routine maintenance., • Coordinate the testing and communications of system updates to core banking system, interfaces, and key ancillary systems, • Provides 1st and 2nd level technical support and responds to incidents as appropriate., • Provide escalated level helpdesk support meeting KPI’s for resolution by acquiring, evaluating, resolving, and communicating root cause for helpdesk intake., • Maintain, communicate, and champion repeatable methodology including a set of standard principles and procedures for managing projects and change., • Responsible for configurations, modifications, productionizing transmission of Secure FTP processing and all Windows operating system environments, • Perform network troubleshooting in a timely manner to isolate and diagnose common network problems., • Monitor server performance and troubleshoot server issues, • Function as a liaison for MCU with technology vendors when troubleshooting system issues., • Monitor all integrated core systems connections included but not limited to online banking, integrated voice response (IVR), and SymXchange connections., • Monitor status of all automated jobs in OpCon and take appropriate action to resolve any errors that may occur., • Support and enforce system security practices and compliance with data privacy and regulatory requirements., • Ensure 24x7x365 availability for business applications through participation in the on-call rotation., • Required to work in shifts as needed., • Perform other related duties as requested and special projects as assigned. Requirements: • College Degree or Certificate in Computer Science or related technical field required., • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a Systems Analyst preferably in the financial industry., • Working knowledge of AIX., • Knowledge of JHA products or equivalent, • Experience with core banking processing platforms like Symitar, Spectrum, or DNA, • Experience administering and maintaining IBM P Series and VIOS, • Up to date experience with Windows, secure FTP processing and TCP/IP networking, • Strong knowledge of PCs., • Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills., • 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry with a thorough knowledge of financial principles, front and back office processing and financial institution regulations., • Experience with core banking processing platforms like Symitar, Spectrum, Servicing Director and Akcelerant are a plus, • Experience with Opcon job scheduler, • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint), • Highly ethical., • Ability to perform in a high-volume environment and meet deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. Why You’ll Love Working Here: The pay range for this position is between $62,800-100,800 annually. Actual base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Employees in this position may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus, 401(k) with an 6% employer match per pay period.
