Job Description Delivery Driver/Server: School Meals: Job Post Location: 2508 N 33rd Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85009 Reports To: Logistics Manager and/or Site Director Pay Range: $18.00–$19.50 per hour (Non-exempt) Position Type: Full-Time (~30–40 hours per week) Schedule: Shifts are scheduled between 5:00 AM and 3:00 PM, Monday-Friday, depending on company and route needs. Note: Work hours may significantly decrease or cease during school breaks (Spring, Fall, Winter, and Summer). Part-Time opportunities may also be available based on company needs. The Driver/Server (Level 1) is responsible for compiling, delivering, and serving school meals while ensuring food safety, compliance with child nutrition program guidelines, and a clean, professional experience for the schools we serve. Essential Functions ???? Delivery & Transportation • Load meal orders accurately, including hot/cold items, condiments, utensils, and paper goods for assigned routes, • Deliver meals safely and on time using company fleet vehicles, • Unload vehicles at the end of the workday and rotate cold/shelf-stable items at school sites, • Drive responsibly and follow all traffic laws, route plans, and company driving policies, • Follow strict food handling & hygiene procedures to maintain proper meal temperatures & sanitation, • Serve meals at schools with professionalism, ensuring student safety and a positive experience, • Sanitize equipment and serving areas after each service period, • Accurately complete binder logs and production records, • Learn and adhere to National School Lunch Program (NSLP), Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), and Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) regulations, • Assist kitchen staff with meal preparation, portioning, and packaging as needed, • Help with inventory management, including food rotation and restocking, • Be flexible and dependable when route adjustments or last-minute changes arise, • Maintain a team-focused attitude and support coworkers across departments, • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with school staff, students, and fellow employees, • Represent the company positively while on school campuses, • Report feedback, concerns, or discrepancies clearly and promptly Requirements Minimum Qualifications: • High School Diploma or equivalent, • Valid Arizona Driver’s License (must be 21+ for insurance approval), • Clean driving record, • Valid Food Handler’s Card, • Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (issued by DPS), • Minimum 6 months of professional driving experience, • Minimum 6 months of customer service experience Skills & Competencies: • Strong attention to detail and time management, • Follows written and verbal instructions with accuracy, • Reliable, flexible, and safety-minded, • Friendly, patient, and respectful when working around students, • Comfortable using smartphones (Samsara app for GPS, logging, and vehicle tracking), • Team-oriented with a servant leadership mindset, • Spanish bilingual preferred (not required) Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly, • Stand, walk, bend, squat, and move throughout the workday, • Tolerate busy and high-energy environments like school cafeterias, • Operate and maintain fleet vehicles such as Ram ProMasters Why Join Nutrition One? • Purpose-driven work that supports Arizona schools, • Nights & Weekends off!, • Collaborative and supportive team environment, • Clear expectations and growth opportunities, • Competitive pay and performance-based raises, • Training and experience in state and federal nutrition programs
