Job Description INTRODUCTION Reporting to the Unity Health Care IT Infrastructure and Security Manager, this role will manage the interfaces and conversions of the Epic system within Unity Healthcare, primarily focusing on the implementation of the system and then providing ongoing support. The Interface and Conversion Analyst is responsible for the development management, documentation, coordination, and tracking of technical aspects and staff for all interface components of Epic. The analyst is also responsible for the setup and configuration of the Epic conversion interfaces within the Bridges application. This will include, where applicable, leading the implementation, upgrades, and maintenance of interfaces, as well as coordinating dependencies with appropriate teams, such as prerequisites in content mapping and related activities for application team-owned utilities and Epic import tools. The analyst needs to be able to coordinate these efforts with the larger Epic team, as well as support and implement specific interfaces. The position will serve as a technical resource for the project team with primary responsibilities for all aspects of implementing interfaces between MFA clinical and practice management systems with MFA vendors, provider organizations, and other third-party organizations as required. The nonprofit provides critical support and resources to people with ALS, caregivers, and loved ones. We empower advocates to raise awareness and lead the movement against ALS in driving the development of treatments and cures. Founded in 2019 by husband and wife team Brian Wallach and Sandra Abrevaya, I AM ALS was born out of their desire to rewrite the ALS story for Brian and the tens of thousands of other people with ALS. The Opportunity In three short years, I AM ALS has established itself as a force for driving change in ALS. Together with people impacted by ALS, the organization has developed an array of programs, platforms, tools, and resources designed to encourage advocacy and action and to amplify and help address ALS community concerns, opinions, and needs. The ALS community drives our work, both literally and figuratively. Core both to our organizational model and this role’s responsibilities in particular, I AM ALS has multiple community ‘teams’, all led by and composed of people living with or impacted by ALS, that meet regularly to organize around opportunities for advocacy and action. Each team centers on a different type of advocacy or affinity group. For example, the Legislative Community team works to pass ALS legislation and increase federal funding. A Familial ALS team focuses on ensuring that the concerns of families with a history of ALS are being addressed in the broader ALS community and creates resources and information for other familial ALS families. The broader ALS community and these teams in particular have been core to recent progress, including the 2021 passage of the ACT for ALS bill, the creation of a veterans with ALS and suicide awareness campaign, and the development of both the Patient-centric Clinical Trial Design (PaCTD) Rating System and ALS Signal, a clinical trial dashboard. There is so much the ALS community and organization have accomplished together, but still there is so much more work to be done. This is why I AM ALS seeks to build out its organizing team – to work with the community to continue changing the advocacy and research landscapes and spread awareness of ALS. The Community Organizing Associate will play a key role in working collaboratively with both staff and community members to build upon our successes and strengths and create the next phase of I AM ALS’s grassroots advocacy work. You You are mission-centric, compassionate, and want to help people and change systems. You have a background in community-centric efforts, such as organizing, research, or outreach. You are dedicated to ensuring community members are engaged and equipped with the education, training, skills, and tools needed to further their advocacy. No task is too small and no project too big for you to passionately drive forward shared goals. Key Responsibilities This work includes both direct responsibility for building and implementing programs and a focus on helping the Director of Organizing form strategic plans and deliver on department goals. The Community Organizing Associate will assist in building and managing our community teams with emphasis on outreach to and development of community members, including the following responsibilities in particular: • Build and nurture relationships with ALS advocates., • Attend and facilitate weekly ALS advocacy team meetings with a focus on supporting the teams in shaping and achieving advocacy goals., • Create advocacy communications and tools. Job Description MDW is seeking a seasoned professional to serve as Director, Strategic Programs & Special Projects. This individual will bring a broad strategic perspective and demonstrated, enterprise-level knowledge of the Department of War-including its mission areas, operating structures, acquisition environment, and interagency relationships-to lead complex, cross-cutting initiatives that support national priorities. This role is based in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. The Director, Strategic Programs & Special Projects may perform a combination of some or all of the following duties: • Develop and maintain trusted, collaborative relationships with senior leaders at the DoW and other Federal C-suite stakeholders., • Provide overall leadership and accountability for program execution, ensuring performance remains within approved cost, schedule, and scope constraints., • Lead and coordinate multiple, complex, multi-faceted projects involving diverse stakeholders, critical deadlines, and constrained budgets., • Oversee the integration of advanced technologies and systems into existing operational environments while ensuring continuity of mission operations., • Serve as the single point of contact with Government management personnel, enforcing work standards and translating Government policies and objectives to program teams., • Direct day-to-day program operations, including schedule management, resource allocation, and deliverable execution., • Oversee required program reporting, compliance tracking, staffing plans, and documentation., • Provide personnel leadership including staffing actions, mentorship, training, evaluations, and subcontractor oversight., • Review and recommend operational, technical, and process improvements to Government leadership., • Review and approve technical solutions, contract modifications, and subcontract documentation., • Lead hiring and onboarding activities., • Engage with DoW stakeholders early to shape acquisition approaches and requirements., • Drive proactive identification and qualification of high-value DoW opportunities., • Proactively identify, assess, and communicate program risks and mitigation strategies.Required Experience/Skills:, • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Program Manager or Deputy Program Manager overseeing $20-30M annual programs, • Demonstrated understanding of the Department of War mission environment and interagency dynamics, • Strong, proactive leadership and decision-making capabilities, • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills, • Ability and willingness to travel to client sites within the U.S.Desired Experience/Skills:, • Experience managing multi-site enterprise Government programs, • Experience overseeing large Federal contracts and task orders, • Experience leading staffing surges and task-order transitions, • Demonstrated success leading innovation, automation, or digital transformation initiativesEducation Requirements:, • Bachelor's degree in business, program management, or a related discipline.
