We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Industrial Equipment Service & Maintenance Engineer to join our team. Job Description Job Summary: The Industrial Equipment Service & Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment. This role requires a strong electrical background with complementary mechanical skills to ensure the efficient operation of machinery and systems. The work will take place either on client’s sites covering all the Americas, or in the business works. Experience in Aluminum cast houses or the steel industry is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities: • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on industrial equipment., • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults in machinery., • Install and commission new equipment and systems., • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions., • Collaborate with the engineering team to improve equipment performance and reliability., • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance., • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies., • Reporting to the Operations Manager, • Working closely and maintain a strong relationship with all Altek departments US & UK., • Internally Engineering (Software, Electrical, Mechanical & Process), • Internally the Production/ Works manager and shop floor managers/ supervisors., • Internally HSE, • Internally Quality, • Internal and External site service personnel., • Externally all customers direct or indirect.Qualifications Qualifications & Experience: • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Will also consider relevant industry experience., • Proven experience in industrial equipment maintenance and repair., • Must be able travel 50% throughout North America and possible to the UK., • Certification in electrical or mechanical maintenance., • Knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations., • Strong electrical skills with a solid understanding of mechanical systems., • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics., • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail., • Ability to work independently and as part of a team., • Strong communication and interpersonal skills., • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed., • Experience with PLCs, VFDs, and other control systems., • Reading and understanding technical drawings., • Competent in using all tools and equipment in sort of role or proving ability to be able to use., • Quality Inspection as and when needed., • Process adherence., • Document and record maintenance/ management & control., • Adherence to company HS&E processes and procedures., • Clear communication both written & verbal., • Experience in Plant / Cast House / heavy manufacturing Environments (preferred), • Excellent communication skills with all stakeholders, • Able to create productive working relationships., • Attention to detail., • Maintaining and exceeding standard requirements., • Teamwork., • Punctual., • Time management – to achieve goals/standards., • Must be confident and willing to travel substantially., • Confident with good written and oral. communications skills., • Discretion and confidentiality at all times.
