The Senior Architectural Project Designer is an in-office role this is a highly skilled and experienced professional responsible for leading and overseeing the design and development of architectural projects. This individual plays a critical role in creating innovative and functional designs that meet client requirements, align with project objectives, and adhere to industry standards and regulations. As a senior member of the architectural team, the Senior Architectural Project Designer collaborates with stakeholders, mentors junior designers, and contributes to the firm's growth and success. The Senior Architectural Project Designer plays a crucial role in shaping the physical environment and contributing to the success of architectural projects. They must possess a deep understanding of design principles, technical expertise, and effective leadership qualities to excel in this position. Essential Functions: • Project Leadership, • Assume a leadership role in concept design of architectural projects from conception to completion., • Develop and communicate project design vision and goals to the team., • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and expectations., • Conceptualize and Design, • Create and present concept sketches, 2D/3D renderings, and architectural drawings., • Transform design ideas into detailed plans, elevations, and construction documents., • Ensure that designs are aesthetically appealing, functional, and sustainable., • Design Development, • Collaborate with engineering teams and other specialists to integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical components into the design., • Review and analyze the feasibility of design proposals based on site constraints, budget, and building codes., • Team Collaboration, • Foster a collaborative and supportive working environment for the design team., • Provide guidance, mentorship, and feedback to junior designers., • Client Communication, • Act as a primary point of contact for clients during the design phase., • Present design concepts and progress updates to clients and address their feedback., • Innovation and Research, • Keep abreast of the latest architectural trends, materials, and technologies., • Integrate innovative design solutions and sustainable practices into projects., • Code Compliance and Regulations, • Stay up-to-date with local building codes, regulations, and industry best practices., • Ensure that architectural designs comply with all relevant codes and regulations. Job Qualifications and Requirements: • Must have or be able to quickly acquire knowledge of company structure (mission, goals, and objectives), and policies and procedures., • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field., • Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in architectural design and creative design, • Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite., • Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction practices., • Demonstrated ability to lead a team and manage complex projects effectively., • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal., • A track record of delivering successful architectural projects that meet client expectations., • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills., • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality designs., • Must possess a valid driver’s license., • Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America., • Will not require Falcon’s Treehouse, LLC to commence (“sponsor”) an immigration case in order to be employed (now or in the future).
