JOB SUMMARY The Cabinet Designer & Estimator supports the sales and project development process by preparing cabinet layouts, design programs, and pricing estimates for residential construction projects. The role reviews architectural plans and builder specifications to develop functional, aesthetically appropriate, and cost-effective cabinet designs. This position plays an important role in supporting accurate and competitive project bids and helping the business respond to builder opportunities in the residential construction market. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Review architectural plans, specifications, and bid documents to develop accurate cabinet layouts and design proposals., • Utilize 2020 design software and cabinet manufacturer programs to develop accurate cabinet layouts based on builder plans and specifications., • Prepare material takeoffs including cabinet box counts, labor requirements, and material cost to support accurate project estimates., • Develop pricing proposals and bid documentation for new home build construction projects., • Ensure cabinet designs meet builder specifications, functional requirements, and project budgets., • Meet project deadlines established by builders and internal project timeline., • Supports cabinet purchasing activities by reviewing orders, confirming product selections, and coordinating with vendors to ensure materials align with approved designs and builder specifications., • Provide administrative and project coordination support to the cabinet team as needed., • Perform other duties as assigned.
