Job Description Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly, organized, and animal-loving Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our pet day care center. You will play a key role in ensuring a warm welcome for clients (both human and furry), managing bookings, handling inquiries, and supporting the daily administrative operations of the facility. Key Responsibilities: • Greet pet parents and their pets in a warm, welcoming, and professional manner, • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage social media inquiries, • Schedule and confirm appointments, drop-offs, and pick-ups, • Handle payments, invoicing, and basic accounting tasks, • Communicate clearly with pet parents about services, policies, and updates, • Keep the front desk and lobby area clean, tidy, and presentable, • Collaborate with the pet care team to ensure smooth daily operations, • Monitor pet pickup and drop-off activity and ensure safety protocols are followed, • High school diploma or equivalent required, • Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, or customer service role preferred, • Passion for animals and comfort around dogs of all sizes and temperaments, • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, • Proficient in using computers, booking software, and office equipment, • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and remain calm in a busy environment, • Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor, • Employee discounts on services or retail, • Opportunities for growth and training
