Sioux Falls is renowned for its friendly community, vibrant downtown, and scenic parks—making it an ideal location for healthcare professionals seeking new opportunities in South Dakota. • Location: Sioux Falls, South Dakota (Zip: 57105), • Healthcare Setting: ICU (Intensive Care Unit) – Central Resource Pool, • Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 11/10/2025 – End: 2/9/2026), • Nursing Shift: 12-hour night shifts, Cluster C, every other weekend/holiday, • Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed, • Estimated Weekly Salary: $2140 - $2290, • Employment Type: Travel Nursing – On-Site Position, • Active RN license in South Dakota or compact state (required for travel nursing jobs), • Minimum 1 year of recent ICU or progressive care nursing experience, • BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required), • Proficiency in Bipap, Cpap, Heated High Flow, Oxygen titration, Moderate Sedation, Telemetry, and Medical-Surgical patient care, • Epic charting experience preferred, • Specialty nursing certification preferred, • Ability to float to Med-Surg units as needed, • Must wear navy blue scrubs, • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a 30-bed medical surgical unit and 8-bed progressive care unit, • Manage patients with diagnoses such as pneumonia, COPD, CHF, COVID-19, pulmonary embolism, and post-operative cases, • Perform critical care procedures: oxygen therapy, IV medications, moderate sedation monitoring, chest tubes, tracheostomies, non-invasive and mechanical ventilation, and cardiac monitoring, • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including case managers, social workers, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and physical therapists, • Advocate for patient safety and quality care while developing critical thinking and time management skills, • Participate in unit-specific and hospital-wide committees focused on patient experience, performance improvement, leadership, and service excellence GHR Healthcare Job ID #423573.
