Job Description Job Title: Warehouse Driver/Operator - WEEKLY PAY - $18 TO $20 AN HOUR - START ASAP Job Description This role combines local non-CDL driving with hands-on warehouse responsibilities. You will operate a flatbed truck with trailer or a box truck to deliver products within a defined regional radius, while also assisting with pallet building, packing, and shrink-wrapping customer orders in the warehouse. The position requires a clean driving record, the ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card, and the physical capability to handle 50-pound bags of seed on a regular basis. Responsibilities • Operate a non-CDL flatbed truck with trailer or box truck safely and efficiently for local deliveries within the assigned territory., • Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company procedures while driving and making deliveries., • Load and unload products from the truck, including handling and moving 50-pound bags of seed as needed., • Build pallets for customer orders by pulling bags from existing pallets and palletizing items onto new pallets according to order specifications., • Use a packing machine to shrink-wrap completed pallets to ensure they are secure and ready for shipment or delivery., • Perform general physical warehouse work, including organizing, staging, and preparing orders for delivery., • Maintain accurate documentation related to deliveries and warehouse activities as required by company procedures., • Obtain and maintain a valid DOT Medical Card and adhere to all related health and safety requirements., • Use a forklift to move and organize pallets in the warehouse after receiving appropriate training., • Previous driving experience operating flatbed trucks and/or box trucks., • Clean driving record with a strong focus on safe driving practices., • Valid DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain one before starting employment., • Ability to perform physical warehouse work, including consistently lifting and moving 50-pound bags of seed., • Experience with palletizing, including pulling bags from pallets and stacking items onto new pallets., • Ability to use a packing or shrink-wrap machine to secure finished pallets., • Previous forklift operating experience in a warehouse environment (preferred but not required)., • Willingness to complete forklift training provided by the company., • Comfort working in a small, fast-paced warehouse setting., • Strong attention to detail when building and labeling pallets for customer orders. Work Environment The work takes place in a small, family-owned warehouse that is clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate. You will split your time between driving local routes within approximately a 100-mile radius of Sioux Falls, SD, and performing hands-on warehouse tasks such as palletizing, shrink-wrapping, and material handling. The company provides forklift training and uses standard warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, and packing machines. Work involves regular physical activity, including lifting 50-pound bags of seed, moving pallets, and standing or walking for extended periods. You will work primarily during the day with flexible start times, have access to overtime, and return home every night. Dress is practical and appropriate for warehouse and driving duties, focusing on safety and comfort. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Brandon, SD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
