About the Role We’re looking for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a background in internal medicine and a genuine interest in developing long-term, trust-based patient relationships. Core Responsibilities In partnership with our internal medicine physician, the Nurse Practitioner will: * Deliver comprehensive care through in-depth evaluations (routine, urgent, and follow-up visits) * Diagnose and treat common acute conditions such as infections, minor injuries, and dermatological concerns * Manage chronic health issues like hypertension, diabetes, and lipid disorders * Provide both telehealth and in-person consultations * Handle lab reviews, prescription management, and patient communications * Coordinate care with specialists and assist in navigating referrals * Perform clinical tasks such as EKGs, phlebotomy, vaccinations, and basic procedures * Educate patients on long-term wellness strategies and lifestyle modifications * Participate in occasional home visits or after-hours care (optional and flexible) Qualifications * Active and unrestricted NP license in Washington, D.C. * Board certification as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner * At least 2 years of clinical experience in internal medicine or primary care * Comfortable working autonomously, yet values team collaboration * Proficient in using electronic medical records (e.g., Elation, eClinicalWorks, Athena) * A patient-first mindset with a focus on empathy, service, and clinical excellence Compensation & Benefits * Competitive salary aligned with experience * Flexible scheduling (3–5 days per week) * Performance-based bonus potential * Paid time off and holidays * Low patient volume with ample support and a modern, well-equipped office Looking forward to connecting soon!
