Job DescriptionLocation: Onsite Experience Level MidSenior Level (5 or more years of relevant experience) Role Overview The Systems Administrator is responsible for managing and supporting enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, and Microsoft technologies across a multicloud environment. This role provides operational support, system administration, and troubleshooting for servers, applications, and network systems while contributing to infrastructure modernization and optimization efforts. The position works on medium to high complexity environments and requires strong ownership of issues to ensure stable and secure operations. Key Responsibilities Infrastructure & Server Administration • Provide daily operations, maintenance, and administration of Windows and Linux servers, • Manage user access, permissions, and security controls, • Monitor systems and applications to ensure availability, performance, and security, • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues, escalating as neededCloud Platforms & Microsoft Ecosystem, • Support and manage AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud services in a multicloud environment, • Administer Microsoft 365 and related Microsoft platforms, • Manage identity and access management solutions and platform security settings, • Support Azure DevOps projects, repositories, pipelines, and organizational configurationsNetwork & Systems Engineering, • Assist with network configuration, security hardening, and connectivity solutions, • Analyze network performance including availability, utilization, throughput, and latency, • Support implementation of network policies, firewalls, and secure communication channels, • Coordinate server and network configurations across internal teams and external partnersApplication & Middleware Support, • Support hosting and operation of complex application environments, • Assist developers and IT staff with infrastructure dependencies and deployments, • Support middleware technologies including API management and automation toolsMonitoring, Performance & Optimization, • Perform continuous system monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning, • Identify opportunities to improve performance, reduce cost, and increase efficiency, • Support proactive detection and resolution of system issuesAutomation & Documentation, • Develop and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and configurations, • Automate administrative and operational tasks to improve efficiency, • Maintain compliance with security, privacy, and operational standardsCollaboration & Delivery, • Work in a matrixed environment supporting multiple teams and stakeholders, • Take ownership of complex issues and drive resolution to completion, • Support infrastructure projects and operational initiatives as assignedRequired Qualifications, • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience, • 5 or more years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or related roles, • 3 or more years of experience supporting network or infrastructure environments, • 2 or more years of experience administering Windows Server (2012 R2, 2016, 2019, 2022), • 2 or more years of IIS administration experience, • 2 or more years of experience with networking concepts including TCP/IP and DNS, • 2 or more years of experience with AWS cloud services, • Experience supporting Linux environments (Red Hat or Ubuntu), • Strong troubleshooting skills across systems, networks, and applicationsPreferred Qualifications, • Experience with Microsoft Azure and additional cloud platforms such as GCP, • Experience administering Microsoft enterprise platforms including Microsoft 365, • Experience with middleware, API management, or automation tools, • Experience with Azure DevOps, Git repositories, and CI/CD pipelines, • Experience working in enterprise or public sector environmentsCore Skills & Attributes, • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, • Ability to manage multiple priorities and contextswitch effectively, • Strong documentation and automation mindset, • Effective written and verbal communication skills, • Ability to work independently and in team environments, • Adaptability in fastpaced and complex technical environments, • Strong focus on security, reliability, and operational quality, • High level of accountability and ownership of technical issues
