Job Description Benefits Offered: • Medical, • Dental, • Vision, • 401K with company match, • PTO, • 11 Paid Holidays, • Breakfast provided Monday - Friday Job Duties & Responsibilities: As the Receiving and Inventory Control Supervisor, you will play a critical role in the initial stages of our supply chain, ensuring the accurate and efficient intake of all raw materials and components for our nutraceutical manufacturing operation. You will lead a team of 10+ individuals and be the primary point of contact for inbound logistics partners. Your expertise in warehouse processes, combined with a strong focus on technical and continuous improvement, will be essential for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and supporting our production schedule. This role reports directly to the Nutraceutical Warehouse Manager. Key Responsibilities: • Supervise Receiving & Putaway Operations: Lead and oversee all inbound receiving activities, from dock scheduling to the physical inspection and receipt of materials. Ensure all materials are accurately identified, labeled, and put away in their designated locations in a timely manner., • WMS & ERP Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for receiving and putaway processes within our Warehouse Management System (WMS) and related modules in our ERP system. Provide hands-on training for the team, troubleshoot system issues, and identify opportunities for process and system optimization., • Manage Vendor & Carrier Relationships: Manage relationships with inbound logistics partners, including carriers, freight forwarders, and vendors. Coordinate delivery schedules, resolve discrepancies, and ensure adherence to our receiving protocols., • Inventory Control & Accuracy: Oversee all cycle counting activities within the receiving and putaway areas. Be responsible for investigating and reconciling any discrepancies to maintain a high level of inventory accuracy. Manage the accurate putaway of all production returns., • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 10+ receiving and putaway associates. Conduct performance reviews, manage scheduling, and foster a safe, productive, and cohesive work environment., • Continuous & Technical Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to receiving and putaway processes, focusing on enhancing efficiency, safety, and inventory accuracy. Stay abreast of new technologies and best practices to optimize material flow., • Safety & Compliance: Ensure all receiving and putaway operations are conducted in strict compliance with cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) regulations and all company safety policies. Maintain a clean and organized receiving dock and storage area., • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred., • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role., • Proven experience in a regulated industry; experience in the nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or food manufacturing sector is highly preferred., • Demonstrated expertise with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software is essential., • Strong understanding of inbound logistics and carrier management., • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills., • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for continuous improvement., • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate a forklift or other material handling equipment.
