Job Description Job Purpose/Summary The Achieve In Life (AIL) State Program Manager leads the statewide implementation, coordination, and continuous improvement of Communities In Schools of Nevada’s young adult success initiative, serving CISN alumni and other Nevada young adults ages 18–24. This position blends program leadership, relationship-based case management oversight, and partnership development, ensuring high-quality supports aligned to the 4E pathways: Education, Employment, Enlistment, and Entrepreneurship. Success in this role looks like: • A cohesive statewide AIL program grounded in CISN’s integrated student supports model, • High-quality data collection and consistent case management standards across affiliates, • Strong partnerships that expand opportunities for young adults, • A program culture where young adults feel known, supported, and connected Duties and Responsibilities Program Implementation & Statewide Coordination • Leads the statewide launch, and execution of the Achieve In Life program aligned with CIS strategic priorities., • Establishes statewide standards for engagement, case management, leadership pathways, workshops, and supports across affiliates., • Develop and evaluate outcomes and the data needed to evaluate outcomes of youth and programming., • Creates and maintains operational systems, workflows, communications, and cross-affiliate alignment tools., • Coordinates with affiliate leaders to ensure consistent delivery while allowing for regional flexibility. Case Management Oversight & Young Adult Support • Provides high-quality, relationship-based case management to CIS alumni., • Oversee statewide case management practices, ensuring fidelity to the AIL model, including needs assessment, goal setting, 4E pathway planning, and check-in standards., • Coaches and supports staff delivering direct services, reviewing caseload data, progress notes, and benchmark achievement., • Ensures young adults receive appropriate short-term support, referrals, and connections to partner agencies. Partnership Development & Community Relationships • Cultivates and maintains partnerships with postsecondary institutions, employers, training providers, service agencies, and community organizations statewide., • Works closely with Southern Nevada on Program partners that serve the Shaquile O’Neal Center programming and Integrated Student Support programs to ensure cohesion., • Works closely with all affiliates to develop and explore partnership opportunities serving individual communities across the state., • Negotiates collaboration agreements, workshop partnerships, and resource-sharing structures that expand opportunities for young adults., • Represents CIS and the AIL program in community coalitions, youth-serving networks, and workforce/postsecondary forums., • Ensures all partnerships align with CIS values, equity priorities, and young adult needs. Alumni Leadership & Engagement • Supports the growth and collaboration of Alumni Executive Councils across the state, ensuring young adults help drive program decisions, planning, and evaluation., • Plans, coordinates, and executes statewide and regional workshops, networking events, life skills sessions, and leadership opportunities., • Oversee AIL marketing, communications, and storytelling efforts across digital and in-person platforms., • Develop pathways for young adults to serve as mentors, advocates, volunteers, and program co-creators, in collaboration with Program Partners. Data Systems, Reporting & TrackVia Oversight • Serves as the state-level lead for AIL data standards, TrackVia workflows, metrics, and compliance., • Ensures high-quality completion of needs assessments, interaction logs, goal plans, benchmarks, and engagement records., • Works with teams to review data to monitor outcomes, identify trends, and inform continuous improvement of the program., • Prepares reports for state leadership, funders, affiliates, partners, and the CIS National Office. Shaquille O’Neal Center Activation & Support • Supports planning, launch, and operation of the Shaq Center as the southern hub for AIL programming., • Coordinates space usage, workshop schedules, partner engagement, young adult traffic flow, and center activation strategies. Collaborate with Southern Nevada alumni team to coordinate efforts and activities., • Ensures the center reflects CIS values: belonging, accessibility, cultural responsiveness, and relationship-centered support., • Works closely with the State Director to align center operations with statewide programming and rural immersion experiences. Administration, Communication & Cross-Department Collaboration • Collaborates with Finance, Data, Program, and Development teams to ensure alignment across systems., • Supports budget development and monitoring for AIL programming, events, and partnership agreements., • Manages internal communication flows, scheduling, documentation, and program resources., • Represents the AIL program in presentations, trainings, and statewide meetings. Qualifications and Competencies Qualifications include: • Bachelor’s or higher degree preferred (Degree in education, social work, human services, public administration, or related field preferred.), • 3+ years of experience in youth development, case management, social services, postsecondary access, alumni engagement, or similar fields. • Experience building partnerships with schools, colleges, employers, and community agencies., • Demonstrated experience supporting youth or young adults from varied backgrounds., • Strong relationship-building, communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills., • Skilled in project management, event coordination, and program implementation., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with data systems (TrackVia, Salesforce or similar preferred)., • 2+ years of program management experience preferred. High level of interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral communication) a must., • Excellent organizational, training, coordination, and leadership skills. Work Environment & Physical Demands • Work environment is indoors and climate controlled. May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions., • Moderate noise levels as found in a business office and classroom setting., • Use of own automobile., • Must be able to pass a criminal background check, possible fingerprinting, and drug screen., • Occasional travel required.
