Job DescriptionJob Title: Logistics Coordinator Job Description The Logistics Coordinator oversees daily supply chain activities to ensure the accurate, timely, and efficient movement of goods and materials. This role supports internal teams and external partners through strong communication, precise documentation, and effective use of office and logistics systems. Responsibilities • Coordinate and monitor day-to-day supply chain and logistics operations., • Ensure the timely delivery of goods and materials to customers and internal locations., • Communicate proactively with suppliers, carriers, and customers to resolve delivery, shipment, or scheduling issues., • Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and all logistics activities., • Perform data entry and document control to keep logistics information current and organized., • Prepare and analyze reports on logistics performance to identify trends and areas for improvement., • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency., • Provide administrative support such as filing, scanning, and managing documentation related to logistics., • Handle front desk, receptionist, or clerical tasks as needed to support daily operations., • Deliver professional customer service to internal and external stakeholders., • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, company policies, and logistics standards., • Use Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel, to manage communications, schedules, and reports.Essential Skills, • Proficiency in data entry with a high level of accuracy., • Strong administrative and clerical skills, including filing, scanning, and document control., • Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel., • General computer literacy and the ability to learn new systems quickly., • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills., • Effective customer service and communication skills for working with suppliers, carriers, and customers., • Ability to handle front desk, receptionist, or secretarial tasks when required., • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • High school diploma or equivalent., • Experience in administrative support within logistics, supply chain, or a similar office environment., • Experience with Microsoft Outlook for scheduling and communication., • Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively., • Interest in growing professionally within a rapidly expanding organization., • Willingness to be flexible and support a variety of administrative and logistics-related duties.Work Environment The work environment is described as very inclusive, with an open-door culture that encourages communication and collaboration. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Employees use standard office technologies and software, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, to support logistics and administrative tasks. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Phoenix, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
