Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 03/30/2026, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, rotating, • Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview • Shift: Rotating, 3x12hrs, • Hours: 36 hrs/wk, • Start Date: Mar 30, 2026, • Length: 13 weeks, • Work in a fast-paced, high-acuity Cath Lab at a 933-bed Magnet-designated, Level III Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center in Milwaukee, WI, • Travelers will work exclusively in the Cath Lab; the facility has 15 total labs shared between Cath Lab, EP, and Hybrid, with approximately 11 dedicated to Cath Lab, • Adult-only patient population; no pediatric cases, • High case volume of 24–40 cases per day with a 1:1 patient ratio, • Cath Lab procedures include diagnostic and interventional cases, RHC, LHC, STEMI/NSTEMI, CTO, valvuloplasty, CardioMEMS, biopsies, atherectomies, staged PCI, IABP, and Impella; ECMO experience preferred, • Peripheral diagnostic and interventional cases, including fistulograms, • Hybrid experience (AAA grafts, thoracic grafts, clips, TAVRs, Watchman) is preferred but not required, • Day/PM rotating shifts available as 8-hour, 12-hour, or a combination of both, • Occasional weekend shifts (Saturday and/or Sunday) and call coverage per department needs, • Weekday call shift runs 12:00 PM–8:30 PM, with call continuing from end of shift until 6:00 AM the following morning, • A 7-day call block occurs every 2–3 months (Friday to Friday); not all 7 days may require active call, • 30-minute call response time required, • Holiday coverage may be required based on staffing needs, • No floating required, • Charting via Epic (experience required); equipment includes Alaris, Pyxis, GE C-arms, Volcano, St. Jude, Alphavac, Angiovac, EKOS, Anari, GE Pruka/Maclab hemodynamic system, Maquet IABP, and PACS systems Fuji and ProSolvRequirements, • Minimum of 3 years of Cath Lab experience required, • Most recent experience must be within the last year, • Current BLS and ACLS required, • RCIS preferred, • Active WI license required if applicable, • Proficiency in Cath Lab and peripheral cases including diagnostic, interventional, scrubbing, and panning, • Hybrid experience (TAVRs, Watchman, AAA/thoracic grafts) preferred but not required, • ECMO experience preferred, • Experience with Epic EMR required, • Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration, • Minimum of 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN, • First-time travelers will not be considered for this positionAdditional Information, • Permanent staff will monitor cases; travelers will not be assigned to lead or oversee cases independently, • Strong support team on unit includes a Charge Tech/Lead, HUC/Receptionist (6:00 AM–8:00 PM), transporter (6:30 AM–8:00 PM), housekeeping for room turnovers, storeroom staff for supply management, RT available 24/7, hospitalist available 24/7, and cardiology in-house 24/7, • 1 week of orientation provided, • Facility adheres to a fatigue policy limiting staff to no more than 60 hours per week or 5 consecutive 12-hour shifts, • Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved, • Scrubs are provided, • Free parking available With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
