This is an excellent opportunity for experienced RNs seeking travel nurse jobs in Arizona to join a top-tier healthcare team, deliver critical care to pediatric patients, and enjoy Tucson’s vibrant culture, scenic desert landscapes, and year-round sunshine. • Estimated Weekly Pay: $2020-$2070, • Assignment Length: 13 weeks, • Location: Tucson, AZ 85712 – Explore Arizona nursing jobs with beautiful mountain views, outdoor recreation, and a thriving arts scene, • Healthcare Setting: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), • Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:30), • Hours per Week: 36, • Start Date: 12/15/2025, • Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday), • Patient Ratio: 1:2, • Average Daily Census: 8-10 patients, • Charting System: EPIC, • Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license, • BLS and PALS certifications (must be valid through assignment start date), • Minimum 2 years of recent PICU nursing experience, • Proficiency with EPIC charting system required, • CPI certification preferred, • Strong clinical skills in pediatric critical care, including DKA management, ventilators, high flow nasal cannula, and central lines, • Ability to float to other units within scope of practice as needed, • Commitment to full contract length, • One supervisory reference required, • Travel nurses must reside outside a 75-mile radius from Tucson, • Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU, • Monitor and manage ventilators, high flow nasal cannula, and advanced respiratory equipment, • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans, • Administer medications, blood products, and manage central lines, • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, radiology, and pharmacy, • Respond to rapid response situations and pediatric early warning scores (PEWS), • Float to other nursing units within scope as needed, • Maintain accurate clinical documentation using EPIC We believe in empowering your career.
