Discover why Charleston is a leading destination for healthcare professionals seeking rewarding radiology jobs in South Carolina.\n \n\nRadiology Technologist Job Details\n\n • Location: Charleston, South Carolina (29401) – South Carolina healthcare jobs\n, • Facility: Inpatient/Outpatient Level 1 Children's Hospital\n, • Job Type: Travel Radiology Technologist contract\n, • Start Date: December 15, 2025\n, • End Date: March 16, 2026\n, • Assignment Length: 13 weeks\n, • Shift: 3x12-hour night shifts (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)\n, • Hours per Week: 36\n, • Estimated Weekly Salary: $1420 - $1530\n, • Holiday Rotation: Required\n, • On-Call: Yes, included in rotation (must report within 1 hour if called in)\n, • Floating: May float to other pediatric imaging locations/buildings on campus as needed\n, • Orientation: First week may be on day shift for orientation\n\n\nRadiology Technologist Qualifications\n\n, • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist or X-Ray Tech\n, • Current ARRT (R) certification and active South Carolina Radiologic Technologist license (SCRQSA) required\n, • BLS certification required\n, • Experience with operating room and C-arm procedures required (additional training available)\n, • O-arm and trauma imaging experience preferred\n, • Pediatric radiology and/or trauma experience preferred\n, • Must provide own radiation badge\n, • Ability to float to other pediatric imaging locations as needed\n, • South Carolina license must be active prior to start date\n\n\nRadiology Technologist Responsibilities\n\n, • Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray imaging for pediatric patients in a Level 1 Trauma hospital\n, • Operate Siemens diagnostic equipment, C-arms, and portable imaging units\n, • Assist with fluoroscopy, operating room, emergency department, and bedside/portable procedures\n, • Prepare and administer contrast media as needed\n, • Float to other pediatric imaging locations/buildings on campus for critical staffing coverage\n, • Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly when called in\n, • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care\n, • Maintain accurate documentation using Epic charting system\n We believe in empowering your career.
