Job Description Job Title: Human Resources Generalist Job Description As a Human Resources Generalist, you will play a key role in supporting various aspects of the HR function, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration. You will assist in implementing HR policies and procedures, providing support to employees and managers, and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the HR department. Responsibilities • Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process, including job postings, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and conducting checks., • Support employee orientation and training activities, ensuring new hires are equipped with necessary information and resources., • Assist in the administration of HR programs and initiatives, such as employee benefits and employee recognition programs., • Provide support for employee inquiries and requests regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits, offering guidance and assistance as needed., • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies., • Conduct employee relations activities, including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions., • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices., • Prepare and distribute HR-related communications., • Assist on special projects as needed, including support of ongoing continuous improvement framework, data audits, and participation in safety and operations audits and initiatives., • Proactively implement positive employee engagement strategies and initiatives to drive improvement in morale and retention. Essential Skills • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration., • 1-5 years of experience in Human Resources., • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization., • Basic understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations., • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software., • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment., • Must be bilingual in Spanish and English. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations., • Experience with HRIS implementation or administration., • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills., • MBA or Master's degree in Human Resources., • Deeper knowledge of employment laws and compliance (FMLA, ADA, EEO)., • Experience administering or supporting employee benefits., • Experience with employee engagement or recognition programs., • Participation in audits, continuous improvement, or safety initiatives., • Strong data auditing and reporting skills., • Advanced organizational and process-improvement skills. Work Environment This position is 100% onsite, with working hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Orientation will occur in the first week on the first shift. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Reno, NV. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
