The Construction Project Manageris responsible for estimating (as needed), managing, and delivering DYWIDAGs repair and strengthening projects in a safe, efficient, compliant, and high-quality manner. The PM assumes full ownership of projects once awarded and ensures successful execution from handoff through closeout. Using strong technical competence, construction acumen, and communication skills, the PM delivers projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with all contractual, regulatory, safety, union, and Davis-Bacon requirements. Work primarily includes structural repair and strengthening projects such as post-tensioning, CFRP, concrete repair, and specialty strengthening, within heavy civil and commercial infrastructure markets. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Safety Leadership • Maintain an unwavering commitment to safety in all aspects of the role., • Develop and implement site-specific safety execution plans for each project., • Participate in detailed estimate-to-operations handoff meetings., • Review awarded scope, bid assumptions, labor classifications, production rates, constraints, and budget., • Confirm Davis-Bacon wage determinations, collective bargaining agreements (CBAs), and compliance deliverables., • Ensure correct labor classifications align with work performed., • Coordinate union labor dispatch in accordance with CBAs., • Verify accurate timekeeping and labor coding (CrewTracks or equivalent)., • Lead and manage day-to-day field operations for assigned projects., • Manage schedules, manpower, subcontractors, materials, equipment, and sequencing., • Conduct site visits, coordination meetings, and progress reviews., • Resolve field issues, constructability challenges, and conflicts efficiently., • Ensure work complies with approved submittals, QA/QC plans, ITPs, and applicable ACI/ICRI standards., • Coordinate inspections, testing, and third-party or engineering reviews., • Manage project budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, and financial performance., • Monitor labor productivity and implement corrective actions as needed., • Identify out-of-scope work and initiate RFIs and change orders., • Support billing, pay applications, T&M tracking, lien waivers, and collections., • Maintain accurate daily reports and project documentation., • Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, GCs, inspectors, subcontractors, and internal teams., • Provide routine updates on progress, risks, schedule, costs, and compliance status., • Build strong relationships with clients, engineers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to support repeat work and future opportunities., • Complete punch lists, final inspections, and turnover documentation., • Ensure submission of all certified payroll closeout documentation., • Deliver as-builts, O&M manuals, warranties, and required certifications., • Perform financial closeout, margin analysis, and lessons learned., • Contribute feedback to Estimating, Operations, and Business Development teams. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience. 5+ years managing concrete repair and/or structural strengthening projects. Experience with heavy civil, bridge, DOT, or commercial infrastructure projects. Proven experience managing Davis-Bacon, prevailing wage, and union labor projects. Strong understanding of certified payroll, labor classifications, and compliance reporting. Ability to read and interpret construction contracts and engineering drawings. Proficiency with project management tools (Navision, CrewTracks, HCSS, Procore, MS Office, etc.) or ability to learn quickly. PMP, CCM, or similar project management certification. OSHA or equivalent safety training. ACI or ICRI certifications (Concrete Repair Technician, FRP Installer, etc.). Experience with LCPtracker, eMars, WH-347, Paycor, or Points North. Ability to traverse active construction sites and varying environments. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, laptop use, etc. Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.
